I have attended many quilt shows aroung the country. When I first stepped into the Museum and looked at the Gee's quilts, without knowing the history, I thought they were perhaps the ugliest quilts I had ever seen. After hearing the story of these stong women, they were magically transformed into beautiful works of art. Thanks BAM for bringing them to Boise.
