Calm down, old chap, think of that dodgy old heart.
Talking about horses, have you had your face whipped with a branch by one lately?
Out of interest, did that whipping take place in a sauna?

It's called 'Propoganda'.
Something Hitler learned well from Karl Marx.
So did Obama. Tell the people that everything's fine and hide the truth; good or bad. They don't need to know; they're sheep. They'll believe what you tell them and always tell them the government knows best and will always tell them the truth.
Of course; it's the truth as the government sees it.
Stalin did that in the USSR. Consistently stating to his country and the world at large that Communism works; that the quota systems were being met - all the while buying wheat from the United States.
If quotas were being met and they didn't export the results of their nationalized productivity - why were they importing necessities? Why did they stand in line for scarce products?
Propoganda. The people believed - and the people paid the cost of believing.
Our Socialists in office think they can do the same thing here. So they tell us that everything's good. They tell us the recession ended in June of 2009. They tell us it began in 2007. They say we're moving upwards, not to worry, start spending money (not too much time earlier they were telling us to save and stop relying on credit).
They told us that we'd have jobs, that they'd save our homes, that we'd have better healthcare.
They've said a lot.
They've done nothing. I'm fortunate to have a job. But there are 15 people out of 100 who don't. I'm fortunate to have a home. But there are millions of people who've lost theirs. I'm fortunate to have a good company supported healthcare program. But there are millions who have nothing.
I've voted Republican all my life. But there are millions who've voted Democrat who are having second thoughs - Proof? Look up Obama's ratings. Lowest since Carter across nearly every aspect of his presidency and the rating (depending on which poll you read) show the same results irrespective of party affiliation.
Propoganda. The Socialists' friend.
In America; as bad as our education system is; we're neither illiterate or ignorant. We will no longer fall for propoganda. Especially since we made a drastic mistake electing Arnold as Governor because we wanted the Terminator to clean Sacramento and didn't take California politics seriously like we should have; nor will we ever listen to the racist likes of Oprah Winfrey - who supported Obama (the only time she EVER voiced her support publicly) because of race as opposed to ability. Clinton would have been better; as bad as she would have been.
2012. The GOP will have decided the team to put in office - a team in which one member has strength where the other is weak (face it - Biden in inept and foolish; he's an older version of Dan Quayle and unsuitable as Obama's replacement in the event something happens - the ONLY reason I hope nothing happens to Obama is that Biden would be worse. Perhaps that's why Biden was on the ticket?'Cause he sure isn't mentally balanced).
Obama's finished. He couldn't do the job. It's too late to turn his mistakes around; and the country knows he just doesn't care anyway. This was an ego trip; being 'first'.
He got his. Problem being; his job was to ensure you got yours.
Where is it?

So is Obama. Bowing deeply to the Saudi Shiek. And APOLOGIZING to the Middle East for OUR trangressions in a speech in Cairo in 2009.
Obama is anti-American. And the comparison I made stands. Obama is a Socialist in the Marxist fashion.
And thank who ever or whatever you believe in that our 'leaders' are not in office for life unless they repeatedly win elections and that the Presidency has term limits.
Hitler was persecuting the non-Aryans as early as 1935; two years into his reign. But it was many more years before he began the mass exterminations.
PRIOR to all that - and here's the real comparison - he was reforming Germany into a nation of his own envisioning and laying the blame for it's earlier downfall on a specific group of citizens.
Not much different than Obama; the Socialist Democratic Party and the Wall Street Fleabags today. Always blaming somebody else for their own ineptitude.
Yes. I compare Obama with Hitler and Marx.

More silly rhetoric. i.e If nobody does anything or if someone doesn't do somehting and we can't trust anyone anyway, then nothing will be done.
True but it assumes a really PATHETIC species with neither brains nor hearts.
Fact is that the developing world is ALREADY doing more than the developed world. They are much more aware of the urgency and have fewer 'entrenched industries' to 'protect'.
Fact is that this is the time to develop the tools to produce energy with fewer emissions. It doesn't matter WHO uses the energy, the reductions over 'doing nothing' will be the same relative to the do nothing scenario.
Time to see what we CAN do, instead of assuming we are pitiful and pathetic weaklings that can do nothing.

Err. It Was Nixon who bowed to Japan's Emperor, and Obama also,
Bush Held Hands with the Saudi Prince. You need to get your facts straight.

Nixon's bow was met with a simultaneous bow; a mutual sign of respect between the two leaders and was not a deep bow of subservience. Ditto with Obama and the Emperor. Check with etiquette experts who are trained to understand body language and cultural signs of respect.
Bush and the Saudi Prince were friends. It wasn't a formal gesture of either greeting or meeting.
This was not the case with Obama and the Muslim Sheik. It was clearly subservience; the depth of the bow and that the bow was not returned either simultaneous, earlier or later. Again - check with the etiquette experts.
There is a protocol for heads of state which take into consideration each nation's culture. Our Presidents are grilled relentlessly by diplomatic attaches and their assistants so as to avoid offending the leaders of other nations while commanding respect for ours.
Obama, in nearly all cases where he interacts with leaders in the Middle East, goes his own way. And is way is to show America subservient and apologetic for taking al Queda's war to the nations which harbor them.
He's allowed his upbringing as a child in Muslin Indonesia to override his requirements as the leader of a secular nation. And in the process shamed and embarrassed those who fought to uphold our nations right to defend itself against all transgressors.
Don't forget - 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi.
Obama bowing in deep subservience (the message sent through the depth of the bow) to a nation which spawns terrorism? He did this why? To keep the oil flowing? Or something else? It wasn't mutual respect; the Sheik would have bowed as well (which the Japanese Emperor did; in the manner deemed respectful as a return gesture; neither deep nor sustained and mutual - BOTH leaders gave the same bow as per protocol.
We are the world's only remaining superpower. We are also the richest nation in resources, ingenuity and ability (though we no longer use those attributes).
We respect all who respect us and give as good as we get. This includes respect.
We are subservient to none; in gesture, attitude or action.
Too bad neither our current leader nor his team or supporters agree with this.

Your the one who started posting numbers without letting others knw where you found them. I on the other hand included my sources in my post. Even your information being an "approximation" is a indication that you first posted the numbers then had to go looking for something to support them and even then thier numbers didn't support your claims.

Based on that alone if anyone was trying to deceive others that person would be you, not me.

The information was available for anyone who was competent enough to look for it. Actually I quoted the figures from memory, but then provided you with a reliable source when you questioned me. Since you misquoted your source, it is you who was trying to baffle with BS.

I know but the information I found proved your numbers wrong. Android I included my sources so that al my check them. So who would appear to be trying to baffle Android who looked like a reliable source when she provided three different links to creditable sources.
Why should anyo e trust your memory when it has proven less than accurate in the past. As for your claim I missquoted is your attempt at damage control or in this case speaading a little bull.

Sorry sister, but you got it wrong. You couldn't even quote your own links. My memory is better than your quotes. Time to move on. Once again you have proved that you are full of it.

Full of facts and knowledge then your right. If you mean full of bull then that is you your smelling.

The fact is that you made it up and then had to go hunting for something you could claim and even then it was a little weak.

Your problem is your memory is in need of flushing. Time to to defrag your brain.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
