The Yuma Magic/Team Miken girls 12-Under fast pitch softball team won the Arizona ASA "B" state championship June 28 at Centennial Park in Kingman, beating the Douglas Gold Fire 8-2 in the final game.

Our county needs club teams so our youth doesn't have to drive to Phoenix to practice in sports like softball, volleyball and soccer. A county team could get the best athletes to practice and then drive to Phoenix only to compete.
