How about supporting all the students??? Not just the athletes and music and arts! What about all the other kids that need help finding a college to go to! Shame on you Westerville North.

I believe that this program benefits the promoters more than it benefits the students. Parents and students need to be very wary of such promoters.

"The athletic department's half of the $4,000 cost came from ticket revenue, not taxes. ".......

But, since the athletic departmetns at schools and most colleges do not break even and are subsidized by the school or college funding, it essentially comes from taxes. It is also wrong. If colleges were prohibited from running costly competitive sports and awarding athletic scholarships, this issue could be solved. As it stands now, our tax code allows these shennaigans to go on although the IRS is currently auditing about a hundred or so public and private colleegs on how they conduct their "business" including athletics vis a vis their tax exempt, non profit status.

I'm not sure how to feel about this...

Overall, it smacks of a mis-appropriation of funding. Our society needs well-educated, well-rounded students - our very future depends upon it. Focusing money on the student athlete seems contrary to what our values should really be.

But then again... we are a society fixated on Hollywood and the likes of Mel Gibson and Lindsey Lohan -- REAP WHAT YOU SEW!

What is wrong with people today? All we do as bitch as a society, its a wonder other countries laugh at us.....we are too busy on facebook and twitter, or have a way of twisting something good into a negative.

This company has done wonders at our school. Under 1% of the nations population are even D1 material, let alone D1 full rides. This company has amassed millions for our kids over the last 4 years we have been on board.

We have kids going from Florida as far out as California. If you school isn't signed with ASC than you should contact them as a parent.

Anthony AJ Hodel does a great job. Yes he was a balls out football player and struggled with steriod use as a youth but he speaks publibly about his past and educates parents, coaches and athletes... its nice for someone to speak openly about real life...

We hire him year after year!

I wonder if the person too familiar would actually say that to his face. I work for the company and never have any issues! I have seen numerous families get placed. Take a look at his linked in page and endorsements from judges!

I work for ASC TOO familiar you have no idea how successful he has been and how many kids got placed. Reading a tabloid article from almost 10 years ago shows me you have no idea who the guy is. Must be one of his crazy ex's he tells us about in our comic meetings about life events and "what would you do different."

All I know is anyone can type what ever they want on the internet to personally damage someone or a company. Like try this... something that is audio and messages left by clients!

This man is a convicted felon that has warrants out for his arrest???? Who would want this person around children. Google AJ Hodel. He is a scam artist? He has been convicted for passing bad checks, domestic violence, drugs, Ohio Attroney General for fraud on consumers. He doesn't see his children or pay child support? Do you want someone like this around your children? He has police in different states looking for him!! If anyone knows where he is please let the police know!! And please keep your children safe!!!

Anthony Hodel is in fact a scam artist.. be careful who you're working with. I was an employee at his warranty company and he screwed thousands of people. He is a great salesman and it looks like he has been successful with his new company but he was an extremely shady businessman. Google his name, "Platinum warranty corporation", "warranty wizard" or "Automotive research corporation".. they were all the same and the articles are true. We saw it first hand and couldn't believe it when we found out. If you're an employee of his be even more cautious. We had no idea what was going on for a long time. Hopefully he truly has cleaned up his act and is helping people.. just be cautious if you deal with him. Notice he typically goes by "AJ" now, wonder why that is? He ALWAYS went by Anthony until his arrests and fraud.
