He stepped out of bounds... that miracle play was NOT a TD.... the film will show the truth.... put a big asterisk over this one....

Just like the ND touchdown last year resulting from the phantom pass interference play?
ND was 2-7 going into the contest, that should speak for itself to nullify any whining about how this loss was unfair.
I suppose there's an excuse for the other six losses too?
Face the facts ND, you guys stunk it up this year, and that's that. We'll see you next year @ Crespi, and your players can use the distraction of our new $500K scoreboard as the excuse then.
Bahahahahaha.

Alemany has arrived! Call your play a miracle but the biggest win heard round the valley was Alemany knocking off Bishop "beat the tar out of both of you" Amat. Go Warriors!

@Stunt
Congrats on Alemany's victory. it reminds me of 1982 when Crespi was undefeated and they came over and kicked our butts. That score was 34-7.
For the record, Amat did not kick the tar out of the Celts, they only won by 4. And the Crespi/Alemany game was no blowout, with Alemany only winning by just 11.
Should we meet again in the playoffs, Amat and Alemany should expect a tough game, as you well know, it is hard to beat the same team twice in one season.
Good luck to all of the Serra entrants in the playoffs, unless Alemany or Amat plays Servite or Santa Margarita, as both are finely coached by Celt alums Troy Thomas and Harry Welch.

Scalia, Congrats on the Celt victory. Now would you say you have more respect for the Knights as you guys did not quite blow us out as you boastfully expected? Noticed you were unusually quiet ;) Can't wait til next year. The rivalry will always live on.

Absolutely your team played with a lot of heart - hanging 28 points in the first half.
Would you admit that the Celts played with a ton of heart, taking on a 21 point defect in the second half, and their defense not allowing another score?
It was a great game - and in reality what fun is a blowout anyway? Games like the last two just add to the stakes for next year.
See you then, or in basketball season.

Search "Crespi Celt Football 2010" for a link to the You Tube video of this play which is possibly the most incredible play in high school football history...It was unbelievable....

@Coach: Compliment accepted, thank you.
@Chris (escalante?): The film is up...no stepping out of bounds. Have a nice offseason.
Looks like the Celts will fly through at least the first round if they draw LosAlamitos as predicted by the OCR.

ND Nick #41: That was a pretty sad display at the end of the game, throwing your helmet and mouthguard. While it was a frustrating loss, now that will be your very last action as a Team Captain, Senior, and Varsity football player. And, it's on YouTube, and I heard it will likely be on Yahoo! Sports as one of their high school plays of the week, likely seen by millions. I wish you wouldn't have done that. I really do.
