Football: Marine City perfect
#1 Oct 28, 2011
Marine City is NOT perfect!
Marine City has a 9 win 0 loss record because they play in the very weak #4 rated MAC Gold conference.
Marine City was officially assigned to join the #3 rated MAC Blue conference, but coaches Tony Scarcelli and Ron Glodich would not allow this to happen because they have a policy that they do not want to play tough teams.
Consequently, Tony Scarcelli is forever going to be known as "Fony Scar Cell" and Ron Glodich will forever be known as "Ron Grodich" and "Ron Blowdich."
You can read a LOT of valuable information about how much bias, favoritism, and overall nepotism the Marine City coaches show towards thier sons.
Here is the best place to do so:
For the record, Marine City set the state record for playing the weakest opponenents in history in 2007 when they played in the playoffs (11 losses: three opponents with a 6 win 3 loss record, and a 7 win 2 loss opponent). This year's teams Marine City will be playing against are even weaker (although they have slightly better records in the first two weak "filter" rounds of the playoffs). Marine City won't play a decent oponent in the playoffs until the finals.

@ marine city
You are the one who is uneducated!
Go get the police report that proves Anthony Scarcelli is a criminal. The report costs less than $20 along with the files that go with it.
You can see for yourself that Anthony Scarcelli and two other players committed crimes and were caught.
But what is really bad is that coach Tony Scarcelli quickly took all three players to his attorney without telling the parents of those other two players. Coach Tony Scarcelli did not receive any permission from any of the parents of those players! Tony Scarcelli should have been fired for that!
Coach Tony Scarcelli told the other two players that if they didn't accept responsibility for the crimes, it meant they would not play the whole year. Coach Scarcelli only penalized his son Anthony Scarcelli one quarter of one game!
Coach Tony Scarcelli knew that if the parents of those other two players would have had a chance to talk with their kids, they would have told coach Scarcelli to go to hell.
This is the sort of bias and nepotism Marine City football is all about now.
Even Ron Glodich and other MC assistants agreed with me that Anthony Scarcelli got off easy and didn't get what he deserved as a penalty.
Marine City football was the areas best program long before Tony Scarcelli arrived. In 1985 Marine City was winning Regional Championships in a 64-team playoff tournament! That's a lot more impressive than the easy 256-team playoff tournaments Scarcelli competes in now. How much more impressive? FOUR TIMES more impressive!
Tony Scarcelli had an impressive program handed to him by Bob Staskiewicz and Gerry Warkentien. The Marine City football program is going to even higher levels AFTER Coach Tony Scarcelli steps down as head coach and AFTER Anthony Scarcelli graduates!
Ron Glodich will take the MC football team to much higher levels than Scarcelli ever did that is for sure.

Looks to me like the person calling himself Phony Scar Cell knows exactly what he is talking about!
Marine City's 2011 football team breezed through the 2011 playoffs without any problems because the competition was so wimpy.
But then the finals arrived.
Zeeland West absolutely KICKED THE CRAP out of the Mariners!
