I have been using Aldara for about 2 weeks now to treat external GW...I have not seen any improvements..I am experiencing slight itching and the warts appear to be a little red/imflammed. Could this be a sign that they are spreading. I thibk I might even have developed some new ones. Does anyone know how long it takes before the Aldara has any effect. And how do you know its working?

My grandaughter 6 yr. old was diagnosed with Molluscum cont. She has warts in her chin, neck and chest and she is very concerned of the condition because everybody has something to say about her (she is very shy)
The dermatologist recomended Aldara 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Now is the 3rd week and some are larger and red in the chest, the ones in the neck are smaller and in the chin are the same.
If somebody has experience with this medicine in the children , please tell us how long it takes for a real improvement and if these tretment really is safe for kids.
We used Aldara for warts on my 7-year-old daughter's elbow, chin, and neck. It worked great and the little warts are gone and have yet to reappear. She is now 16 years old and still no side-effects and never had a wart again. So, I recommend Aldara to anyone with external warts.

So i was diagnosed with HPV genital warts and my doctor prescribed aldara for some juust inside my "lips"

It worked the first week and now i am on the second week and i woke up with raw blisters and swelling all over the mouth of my vagina. it is extremely painful and sore all the time. This reaction happened on probably the third application?

The doctor didn't mention how painful the side affects could be, not to mention hideous.. has any one else experienced this while using aldara? i reccommend getting a second opinion if you are given the same suggestion..

I used Aldara two years ago to treat HPV warts, it worked a charm and they were gone within 5 treatments. I had a relapse this month and have had to use it again, only this time to suffer side-effects after the first two treatments. My entire labia, perianal and anal area feel like their on fire. I have trouble sleeping, walking, sitting and its extremely uncomfortable to wear pants and tight underwear. I understand that this doesn't happen all the time, which is why I'm stuck as to how I can relieve the pain. Aldara does work, but you might be the 1% of freaks like me who are in agony because of it

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
