As a stroke survivor of a very serious stroke in March 04.(I nearly died) I was a very, very, very fit 42 year old.
I am in a wheelchair, as I have lost my leg use completely, my speach is very, very poor & I am virtually paralysed.

In my first few years in this "New" life. I found I was extremely suseptable to colds, flu & bugs. "This will not do" I thought, as I seemed to be catching, one thing after another. I used to be so healthy. Not anymore. With my limited "Health" knowledge, I was sure I could beat it. I searched the Internet & read some articles.

Now, every morning, I have 2 kiwi, a garlic capsule, a multivitamin, a fish oil capsule & a vitamin A tablet.

I havent caught a single thing since August last year. I have been around colds, flu & bugs. One of my carers,(As I live alone) is always ill. All winter she had a cold followed by another, followed by another. My young son has been to see me & stayed over night. He has had colds & bad throats. I have come into contact with so many people that had colds or bugs. I seem to be imune now. Everything seems to avoid me.

I am healthier now, than I was before my stroke.
