Only some PMS symptoms improve with antidepressant: study

Researchers found that of 447 women in clinical trials testing sertraline for PMS, those with "mixed" symptoms -- multiple physical and psychological symptoms -- were the most likely to see an improvement.

Be careful in taking antidepressants like Zoloft because the drug has been repeatedly indicated of causing harm among its patients. You may refer to http://www.zoloftsertralinebirthdefects.com/z... for a more comprehensive discussion on this matter. You may also consult your physician for safer alternative treatment aside from oral medication.

That is true. And the progress even varies from women to women depending on her physiology and personality. In my personal opinion, I think that some antidepressants like Paxil affect the patient's progress. That's because Paxil side effects include drastic emotional changes.
