10 things we need to do to restore America as a great country:

1. Outlaw all political parties except the GOP and Tea Party
2. Make it illegal to practice any religion except conservative Christianity
3. Make the following things capital crimes: abortion, homosexuality, teaching evolution, backsliding out of Christianity, homelessness, membership in any illegal political parties (especially democRATic)
4. Eliminate ALL public schools and non-Christian universities. You heard me, ALL of them. All children must either be homeschooled or sent to Christian schools to prevent communist indoctrination.

6. Carpet bomb Iran and N. Korea, with nukes if necessary. Use these countries as an "Alderran", make an example of them to show the world what happens if people step out of line and defy us.

The verse you are referring to is simply saying you must love God above all, and if you love any human more, you are not worthy of being His chosen. It is a good thing to teach. God's love is infinitley more than any humans, so why shouldn't we love Him more than any human?

It seems that just before Jesus there was another god known as Mithras (or Mithra). Mithras, oddly enough, has the same birthdate as Jesus, but some 600 years earlier!
