chain saw-wielding man was caught on CCTV attacking terrified fellow drinkers at a British pub after he was asked to leave because he was smoking inside
He was smoking inside? How did they know? Was it coming out his ears, did he belch some, or what?

Where there's smoke, there's fire. Where there's no smoke, there's chainsaw terror? Even if you make chainsaws or other tools illegal, criminals will still get weapons. All you've done is disarmed the law-abiding folks.

BTW, anyone who has followed this thread THIS far is a prime candidate for reading some Spider Robinson. Check out "Callahan's Crosstime Saloon", "Time Travelers, Strictly Cash", or any other in the Callahan Series and watch out for "Punday Night" stories.

Were I a patron at that pub, I would have to say let him smoke. I'd much rather endure secondhand smoke than a chainsaw attack!

This perp must carry a chain saw in the trunk of his car. This must call for a new law. No concealed chain saws in car trunks.

So you think it's better for someone to pick their nose in a pub then come into the pub with a pick-axe then.

Of course, I'd rather they pick their own nose than pick mine with an axe!

This makes the news, but the Indians here can go into the bar with machetes and rob a bar... guess this dude had the wrong color of skin. But here in Canada,, especially Alberta natives, seem to be able to live a law of their own.

If you're trying to make your money stretch as far as possible, this is a good day to discuss ideas with someone who's financially minded, and can give you some useful input. It will also be helpful to bounce your ideas off them and use them as a sounding block. If you've been hoping to turn a colleague into a lover, work your magic on them now.
