They could make a statue out of you. You are so concrete and what the dickens does " I wouldn't expect anyone to respond to that phrase of address mean. I laugh now when I think how upset you would get when I hadn't replied to a post you had directed at me in timely fashion.Perhaps in hindsight I wasn't otherwise occupied. Perhaps I trying to find my Dick Tracy decoder ring.

Everything else you said was the script the Tobacco Industry used to divert people's attention away from a real problem. Someone is paying you to squash the Foodchain Massacre aren't they.

Listen -( You)I wouldn't expect anyone to respond to that phrase of address.

( Real world ) I wouldn't expect anyone to respond to that post,or
You shouldn't expect anyone to reply to that post or
I wouldn't expect anyone to do as you suggest.

Not all language has to sound like flowers are spilling from the arches in the letters of the words.People either gloss over those types of sentences because on the surface they make no sense or they throw their hands up and say "I give up I don't understand what this guy is saying."

There is quite a large flaw in my earlier post. It is kind of like a puzzle for you to amuse yourself with or not. I am surprised actually that you didn't call me out on it.

Ken is a lot like a Beagle...howls on an on, just for the sake of hearing himself!

Ken, your endless spiraling, circular and merry-go-round posting style is quite dizzying!

I think you (or one of the many posters in your commune that share the community PC) argue for the sake of arguing!

Rather boring really!

Nice grasp sentence structure and use of punctuation you have there.

Perhaps you could explain the function of "Tuna eating person" in the sentence "Tuna eating person - should you be responding to posts without trying to have some background- sounds like you just want to be obstructive."

It seems like a phrase used in the place of a noun of address.

Odd that so many things seem to be beyond your ken.

Does your halfway house give you little "time sober" mementos by the hour, Ken? You don't seem to be making it anywhere near to the months department.

Did you really not understand what those three words meant. I took license with a few words to indicate that I was referring to the tuna eating person meaning the person who was drawing an analogy with tuna eating.

Actually, I suspect that you were just "using" that to avoid having to face your own use of language. I think most literate people would have understood what I said. I also bet that they had trouble being able to understand the dilly you supplied previous to that. Maybe sentence structure is more noticeable when the content does not make it worth reading anyway. It was another poor effort at you trying to avert the discussion.

There is a real simple answer to the state of boredom I provide for you isn't there? The content of your post suggests that nothing I say is of interest to you - so pass on the things I post and read the next ones.

Truth and Hugh

I tend to avoid that icon business but today you deserve one each. I will now await the little peanut or the dim bulb or perhaps even the flame sticker. I can hardly stand the anticipation.

Its interesting that you and your little ducks, all linger about the smoking forum(s)...some with various names and positions of either side of the argument...all just as long winded and circular in reasoning!

The funny thing is, you never know who you are talking to from your commune/boarding house...you all should likely use the same name!

In any event, your posts to me, are not worth the time it takes to "judge".

You are thicker than I thought. It might do you good to come and stay in the foster home that our family runs. If you were a smart girl you would not have pointed out that it was not worth the time which it takes to judge them. Sorry about your ability to judge a few sentences but even sorrier that you don't realize that you don't have to read them or respond to them. There is something that brings you here. Maybe you do enjoy being bored and wasting your time.

Your diversion tactic has run its course, troll. Tune in next week, when Ken will take another sidetrack and beat it to death rather than address fundamental issues.

I have openly admitted that I am going to be a troll from here on in if, and when, you when and I communicate. I have no respect left for you. There is no diversion tactic either.Your reading and writing get you in more trouble than your logic. There is no point in seriously debating with someone who will not put effort into the things he is saying.

I have responded completely in accordance with your post. Just as I usually do so consider the fundamental issue ( as it stands between us ) answered.

Well, now, I must have missed that gem. It DOES explain the rest of your post--and several others if taken retroactively.

I understood the sentence and I have never complained about a missed word. If everything you wrote required a simple word insertion your posts would be as well done as the others on the board.

Oh should I apologize because you missed that gem.

Actually after you would not cease from posting to me either directly or indirectly I sent you post #7678 where I addressed you frequently referring to me as a troll. I outlined how I would manage any of your up-coming posts. I clearly wrapped it up by saying "This is how I treat trolls".

If you were not so concrete you would have understood that I was saying I would begin to act like a troll when it came to you.

So it absolutely does explain why I have changed my approach. You can only poke the dog so long until it jumps up and bites you.

The fact that you have recognized that my posting style has changed of late and that it has been retroactive of something tells me that you recognize a shift in how I respond to you. Yes, now you are truly seeing a troll in me, recognize it, enjoy it and learn what type of behavior constitutes a troll- it is the behavior you were bringing to our posts not I.

So don't post if you expect anything else from me. I am going to act more like you. You are my hero big boy.

Ken has pronounced himself a "troll"--perhaps the first honest thing he's posted here. That, for me, makes it much less "interesting" that he would frequent a forum such as this. Addiction fuels and fans emotions on one side of every issue. Public/personal health concern denies the other an opportunity to back down. The venue is perfect for someone who just wants to stir things up.

This is very true, and often times makes for a cesspool of craziness, bringing out every kind of kook under the sun.
From the chicken little's to the types that are locked in a time capsule, and even the crazies that use this forum as a sounding board for their own half-baked agndas, we have seen an interesting mixture of folks.

I think this medium has provided a great deal of therapeutic release for many people, likewise it has caused some others to require therapy (or show they are in need of it)!

One thing this type of forum and topic have done, it often times gives a voice to the voiceless...the people that for years had to endure that stench of a few selfish people that by their own actions and the very nature of their habit, were oblivious to anyone but themselves!!!

For me...I think rubbing it back in the smokers faces is quite a bit of fun...exposing their lies, denial and phoniness, showing the level of deception and misdirection they will go to, all in the name of this habit.

I guess at the end of the day, it is important (even if it seems redundant) to continue to shed light on the successes of the ban, and the ills of the habit!
