I was part of the Engle's payout and I used a attorney from S Fl. he got about 4 grand for nothing.
I know this is off topic but I just found out I was a member of a class action suit from the letter I got today;

These attorney's in this letter are saying I got 3 choices:

I filed an administrative action against USIS on 7/07 (which they ignored), the letter which is the 1st I have heard about it says the pay out is $ 55.27 & $ 16.00, I studied law for 10 years am I missing something here ?

Hi All, hope your well and happy.. Gonna catch you all up with me a little... Just took a trip to Kenosha, WI. ahhh it was okay the weather was about 10 deg. difference then here that felt good.. B was on a job there so didn't do much but got off the farm for awhile so that was okay..
Getting ready for fall planting, the garden is soo nice fresh veggies everywhere.. There's no tomatoes better in the world.. Been all over and know this is the best.. Wish I could send you all some, but keeping them myself to eat now and can the rest..lol B's been back to Orlando on a couple jobs but I did not go.. Guess he's probably coming there again in a week or so, I might make this one depending on my heath issues.. WI. was only 6 1/2 hr drive.. Fl. is 16 so we'll see.. I'll e-mail a couple of you if I do and we can plan on a get together.. A couple won't be invited "for obvious reasons".. Oh well having a great time at home loving the move back.. $ 20.000 just waiting on a form to be filed.

At the fairness hearing in Richmond VA. 11/2011 if you can argue you have sought a administrative action to HireRight Inc.(formally USIS) to correct a bad report from 2/2/08 - 8/31/10 and you have documentation that shows you was prejudiced from procuring employment then you qualify as a Section 1681i class member;

I contacted every attorney in the area (you want a local boy the judge knows) and I have got a good one from what my research dictates PM me for his info.

The amount is totally discretionary set by the trial judge and those that don't understand the judicial term "discretionary" that means what the judge says is final there is no appeal of that judge's opinion.

Hello to anybody out there. I'm a 95 year old widow. My husband of 54 years passed of cancer of the lung in 98. I need some money real bad. Been eating cat food out of the can for the last 2 years. I'm on a computer at the local library and was hoping someone could help me.

Have not been on here in a long time. I hear rumors that there are still lawyers willing to take tobacco cases. I called a few in my area and around the state but all said no and to call the Layer Referral which was totally useless. Anyone? Hey flgma, how are you..? no i haven't heard from anyone in a long time.. Guess they all forgot about each other and us.. I didn't really expect most them to keep in touch with me anyway.. Lol.. I'm still in Illinois on the family farm, it sure gets cold here.. Lol.. But nice to be here..:) This winter not bad at all, a combined 4 inches of snow.. Last year was a hell of a welcome home tho.. It was terrible.. My boy's are all home now, grand babies doing great too.. Bre had another surgery, she pulled through like always a little angel champ..:)
