Judged: 1 1 I have a same problem for last 3 weeks. I am waking up at 3am and cannot go back to bed. It is always at 3am sharp. I am so tired as I have to wake up and go to work at 6am. I wish I could go back to sleep but I cannot. I write a journal but didn't see any difference in my life yet. Honestly, I wish this would stop as I am so tired. I was using sleeping pills to help me but unfortunately that didn't help... I was up again at 3am...:-( |

Judged: 2 1 1 Do you snore? Does a bed partner mention that you "stop breathing at times" in your sleep? If so, go see a sleep specialist as apnea can wake you up especially in Rem sleep where your muscle tone drops off and your airway gets more impaired. Good Luck |

i have been waking up recently every night at 2am and cannot get back to sleep! I used to be able to sleep through anything and always slept very well. I am cranky for the fact that I cannot even get myself back to sleep and have to get up at 5am for work. I have tried keeping myself up as late as possible, tried drinking (that always used to work) and avoiding caffeine altogether for a day. Nope. Didn't work, still up a 2am....

I am waking up at 4:40 sharp. Even after daylight saving time change. And then I would on/off until 7 when I have to get up for work - not really sleeping. Very annoying and making me feel tired during a day. My mind is busy after waking up with unpleasant thought - so I think it is psychological problem.

Judged: 1 I usually wake up once a night and use the bathroom. I thought this was pretty normal, especially because I drink a lot of water. However, this guy says that getting up at night to urinate is a strong indicator of sleep apnea (not getting enough oxygen at night). I'm thinking about having a sleep study done, but I have to check with my insurance first. If you want more info, check out the doc's site: www.sleeptreatment.com . |

Judged: 3 1 1 I live in the burbs, everyone is asleep, no exterior noises, no sonic booms, no alarms, no noise. I am not worrying about anything when I fall asleep. I hate this. All I want, more than anything, is to sleep for 7-8 hours. PLEASE :( WTF?????????? As silly as it sounds.....Am I actually entertaining the thought the MATRIX has me? Or some gov't brain wave machine thingy is activated every night at 2am. I pray for slumber! |

This is a real issue for a lot of us. I take benadryl because of the time release. I take melatonin. I drink herbal tea. I exercise. While, my professional life isn't where I'd like it to be, I have happy relationships and have no real worries or stresses -except this sleep issue. It's cumbersome. I'm tired of being tired. If I didn't have to get up to go to work in the morning I'd just go with it and be productive at 3am then sleep in till 10.

Ok, so i hear of everyone talking about stress in the middle ages and all these symptoms happen to those older than me (im 16). Should i be going through this stage at such a young age?**confused and worried**
