instead of spending thousands of dollars remodeling the room, why don't they figure out what's causing the snoring...perhaps it's health problems, i.e. overweight??? what a total waste of money....

Sounds like they have too much money or too much time on their hands.

The snorer will be much better off with a sleep study. It will help determine the cause - which may be helped with a CPAP machine. I know . I snored. Now I don't, and I sleep so well I don't hear my husband snore. It doesn't cost anymore than the construction - and it may save a life.

You hit the nail on the head Starwatcher. I too USED to snore. A sleep study indicated severe apnea. A CPAP machine and a mask cured a number of problems. Now I sleep, the wife sleeps, we're both happy, and I'm healthier. It takes awhile to get used to using the machine while sleeping, but it is well worth the effort. I won't sleep without it.
