Technically, everyone is brown.
Even people of Caucasian descent are a very, very pale shade of brown.
Even Johnny Winter?

Isn't this a form of age descrimination?
What's next? Banning African Americans from using tanning beds?

Its ridiculous that there is no much debating and struggling with a simple issue such as this. I can think of a lot of things that under 18 kids shouldn't be doing. One of them is driving. Period. They cause more wrecks than a nearsighted senior citizen. Enforcing parental permission would help SOME. But there are alot of unfit parents in this world, as we have seen time and time again. And thats the reason why we have laws, even though laws are highly imperfect.

If there was more common sense to go around, things would be better.

What? You mean they are allowed to use them where you are?

...it was consensual and my parents let him. It's all OK and normal where I'm from. We got free healthcare for a year.

It's generally understood that it's wise to use sunblock outdoors; it's not really under discussion.(Maybe not generally understood by young people.)
It's generally understood that tanning booths are much more dangerous than the sun - that's why the sessions in a booth are limited to a few minutes, as opposed to the usual hours sunbathing outside.

One serious flaw with tanning beds is the fact that the UV rays reach sensitive body parts where the sun doesn't shine.

It makes me wonder if the recently deceased Farrah Fawcett had developed her anal cancer from lying in one of these contraptions.

More likely she got it from laying on top of that skank boyfriend she had......

I think it's a good thing, especially when there are other, healthier options our there. Such as organic spray tanning.

Kids don't really have any need to get into a tanning bed, just going to burn their skin, and cause sun spots. I never got into the tanning bed when I was younger and I'm gonna keep it the same way for Emberly when she gets older...

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Sagittarius

You're in the mood to spend today, especially on the spur of the moment. Be careful if you can't afford to make any impulse purchases, because a lack of cash won't stop you! If you do decide to splash out on something, you may be disappointed when you get it home and you might even decide to take it back.
