In Asian country population esepcially in India, such metabolic acidosis in normal persons, or even in diabetic patients, I have tried, at the dosage of 100 mg bd in many cases.
No such adverse effects has been observed. Probably Indian diet habits, non consumption of heavy proteins, more ketogenic diet fractions may contribute to the safety margin. |
