Dear mitewarrior, I don't know what your problem is, but you are not helping anyone with your rudeness! How dare you call me a liar. I am only sharing what worked for myself and my son in order to help others deal with the dreadful Scabies bug. You on the other hand just go on this site and ridicule one person after another. If you would do the research, you would know scientifically how the Lice R Gone (not Lice B Gone) works. It includes the same enzyme secreted by lice and scabies when it is time for them to molt. When they come in contact with the Lice R Gone the shed prematurely and die. In time they all die as the eggs hatch. It's a very cleaver idea who ever thought of it. It is clear that there is a strain of Scabies that is very difficult to get rid of with the usual remedies, and this was the strain we had - doctors gave us permethrin cream twice and they didn't go away. I thank God we finally got over it and were cured completely. I thank God that I discovered the Lice R Gone - I also thank God for the clove oil that I mixed with the coconut oil, because it releaved the itching right away. The coconut oil was helpful in allowing it to seep into the skin and keep it there. If you don't have anything useful or positive to say to people, you should give it up and go get a life!

I first started with the itching sensations 3 months ago near the webbing of my fingers then I saw the blister-like little balls begin to form then later take over the upperside of my palm under my thumbs and inside my wrists. I was so confused as to how I had contacted scabies as I don't know anyone who has them, then I found out my brother had gotten it from his friend and that's where the contamination began. I began using Scabisan and the bumps began to disappear almost to where I had no mark or burrow left, but I had began to develop the rash-like bumps under my armpits and on my back, then on the inner side of my thighs so I took online advice and began to savagely wash all of my clothes and sheets and covers in hot water as much as possible, then apply the cream at night but the rashy clustered bumps are STILL on the midside of my back and under my armpits! I don't know what to do anymore to make them go away, and just this morning I began to have itching sensations in my scalp and for the past 2 days my ears have been ringing with the sensation to scratch them but I try not to since I just recently began to run the cream on them. I keep attempting to treat but it feels like they're just finding newer places to spread and STAY for good
* can anyone please give me any advice on how to successfully rid of these unwanted guests!

Get some ivermectin, a prescription from your doctor if you can. Or do a search on this forum for ivermectin to see sources for the vet grade products available.

or sulphur soap and msm cream (bioavailable sulphur)

The ivermectin only made her sick and she was NOT cured by it. her mites were more environmental and not scabies mites, though. Been to doctor 3 times telling him I really think I have scabies little pimple like itchy bumps on my wrist... I was told No its not scabies 3 times.... Now it not only spread all over my body including my head scalp but to my poor little 6 month old baby:( she came up with what my doctor also wrongly was diagnosed as dermtitus.......all over her body coinsidently at the same time i came up in the bumps.....So point is listen to yourself you know your body better than anyone else my doctors looking for burrows. My advise is to research as much as you can at the first sign of bumps itchy anything unusual to u go to the doctors chemist and treat yourself ASAP better to be safe than sorry get rid of them quickly.

Uknowu, get yourself a cheap hand-held microscope ($12)and look at you and your child's skin for fibers. There are many people in these forums that think they have bird mites and scabies when really, they are battling morgellons. If the doctors can't find bugs, then you really need to take a look at your skin yourself. Look at the rashy parts closely and your hands. I have plenty of photos up on my site so you can see what you are looking for and there is a link on my home page for a cheap microscope.

Recently i lubed my children up with permethrin cream because my 1 year old has them i got myself too, but a day and half later i find myself inching for the first time on my leg i scratched so hard i dug in the skin kinda easy now i just feel ichy all over. my oldest didnt have them till i put the cream on i really dont know what to do? and my daughter has a pretty big bump by her eye, i was doing research on scabies and it all says that they dont go to the area and she has nothing anywhere else yet. I have a bump on my nose and between my eyes they might be just pimples but they dont even feel the same...... stupid bugs

Dear Almostthere, First of all I am so sorry you are going through this. I will pray that you will be healed from these awful "insects from hell". I have written a lot on this subject on the details about how we got free from them. Too much to go into detail here, so please go back and read all my posts, it will be worth it. You must be very disciplined about following the exact procedures I documented, and not give up until long after you think they are gone to be rid of them. You can get reinfested very easily if you don't stick to the steps I documented. God Bless.

LoriSaysHey.... You just didn't tell how much and how long to leave it on... I've looked back at all of the posts. You said you went through 4 bottles... Did you just follow the directions on the bottle or the directions that were on line that are the same for lice. You leave it on for 15 minutes by the lice directions..... Thanks for your response. I do really appreciate it. For me it seemed like the scabies just loved the clove and oil...I have been using lotion with orange oil to moisturize....

I know what you are all thinking 2 times!

No. It's not through sex. Once was while traveling through Ecuador I picked them up at a resort that washes their sheets but not the bed covers (I am assuming). That was at 20 years old. Believe it or not 20 years later I have them again...this time I believe it's from my two dogs who can go in and out of the house on their own. I knew right away that I had them. In 1992, Elimamite was still around...and it does work.

The trick to beating scabies is early treatment.
Seeing a dermatologist for $150 to get a $38 bottle is fairly ridiculous but -- well worth it.

If you get scabies take a rag and drench it in alcohol. Clean your entire body...buy some lotrimin and place it all over your body for a day...then wash off and see a doctor.

Benadryl will / should be used if the rash is out of control - painful and itchy.

As for your bed / clothes - you should wash all of your clothes in hot water cycles (twice).

Your bed - can be sprayed but that's probably the place where the mass majority get scabies from vs sexual intercourse. In essence, get rid of the bed or at least the mattress and you should not have a problem in the future.

As for using home made remedies...nothing really worked for me...the elimimite cream is worth the money...can't believe in 20 years nobody has come out with an Over The Counter med for this!!

I find burrows on my face all the time. I peeled my skin on my face and all my spots and mites were gone, but I managed to transfer a mite back in between my eyebrows again. They get there easily.... don't touch your face while scratching!

OK, I see. Well, I took a shower in the morning and at night. Washed my hair and applied it all over my body and washed it off. Then after I towelled off, I applied it all over my body again, every inch, except my hair, and left it on all day until the evening when I showered again, washed my hair again, and then applied it all over my body again and slept with it on all night. I also applied the clove oil/coconut oil on the places that itched because the clove oil numbed the area so that it didn't itched as much. I used 1 part clove oil and 4 parts coconut oil. It's important to keep the LRG on your body at all times because every day new eggs hatch and when larvae crawl to the surface of your skin, they need to make contact with the LRG, so that they are forced to molt prematurely and eventually they all died. I also had to pain-stakingly wash all my bedding (sheets, pillowcases, blankets), brushes, anything that I made contact with in my home and also for my son EVERY DAY. I put 1/4 LRG in the 8oz bottle with water and sprayed every crack and crevice in my home, the carpet, furniture, my son's wheelchair. I covered our mattresses and pillows with plastic zipped up covers and also sprayed them each morning with LRG spray. Also put all my items I couldn't wash that we had been in contact with in a tightly sealed plastic bag until we were over this stuff, then I sent it to the cleaners later. Each caretaker for my quad son had to follow the same routine - it was a nightmare. No one else was allowed in our home and I was fortunate enougth to have am understanding boss who let me work from home for all those weeks while recovering. It took in total about 6 weeks to be rid of them completely AFTER I discovered the LRG. Only one of the caretakers contracted it (out of 5 caretakers) when she cleaned the house a couple weeks AFTER we were almost over it - we couldnt' believe this! So we had to let her go and didn't allow her back into our home. She continued to use the LRG and my same routine until she was rid of it a few weeks later. It wouldn't have taken us so long to get rid of it, if we had known what to do in the first place. We wasted a few weeks following our doctor's directions with the Permethrin cream, which didn't work at all (two tubes of it). Also, tried everything I read about on this forum and others, including bleach, Apple Cider Vinagar, etc. They seemed to help the first couplel days, but then they came back with a vengence. Don't waste time with anything else. Thank God we were freed from it. I've read here and other places that some people have this awful bug for years! You can get reinfested so easily if you don't clean EVERYTHING tenatiously EVERY DAY and even a couple weeks after the itching is gone! Also learned that when they die under your skin, it takes months for your body to excrete it, so you may see bumps show up that don't itch for a long time afterwards, don't be alarmed UNLESS they itch. Hang in there and just be patient and tenatious - it's like you're in a war with an unknown enemy - just horrible. I pray that you will be better soon. Take care. Lori

My three year old scratched herself lastnight until she had blood and skin under her nails. When I did the permethrin I did not know to treat the scalp now I feel them all on my scalp and my face looks horrible. I don't know what to do. I am growing cassia alata but it probably wont be ready to harvest until late in the summer. I've read every post on this forum and the only things I have not tried are the lice r gone and the Arm and Hammer detergent. These things sound wishy washy to me. It seems no one knows what to do.
