If you decide to take Invermectin as your source of treatment, any feed store has the horse paste. I paid $2.99 for 6.08g of the apple flavored. That's enough for four double doses. Now how cheap is that? This stuff works great.
Just take the Ivermectin orally and carefully spot where needed. If your skin itches where you spot, just apply coconut oil and the itching will go away. The coconut oil will also smother any larvae or mites that you feel crawling around on you. Three or four doses of Ivermectin about 4-6 days apart should take care of it. It should not take more than a month from start to finish to get over these mites. By the way, I love coconut oil. It won't ruin your clothes like all the other oils, smells great, and is so healing to the skin. Coconut oil and horse paste is all you need. I have had these little critters four times in ten years. I have tried everything. At times I thought I would never get over them. Then I discovered the horse paste. Nothing works better than Ivermectin horse paste and coconut oil. GLTA |

This is what a Scabies looks like under your skin. Female is laying eggs in a burrow.
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DP7qTeB9mn0/ThtRWgz... Here is an image of a skin scraping that contains a scabies mite, eggs, and feces. The microscopic arachnid burrows into the skin, depositing both eggs and feces. Note the black dots that surround the eggs. This is feces from the scabie and is also the cause of skin irritations and rashes. http://www.umm.edu/graphics/images/en/2471.jp... |

I went to the beach and stayed at Motel 6 where I could bring my cat because they allow animals. This is how I caught mites again. I am pretty sure I have a species of feline mites. I found bites on me when I woke up the first morning at the motel but was hoping they were just mosquito bites. It turned out to be wishful thinking. It took about a month for them to really get a hold of me and convince me that I had them.
I have been treating myself for three weeks now. I have taken four oral doses of apple flavored horse paste in the last three weeks and did some spotting. After each dose I noticed significant improvement to the extent that I thought I was over them, but I have animals here so this is a factor that is going to make it much more difficult to remediate. Thus, I also treat my cat and dog at the same time. These little cooties are definitely going to be much more difficult to get rid of if you have both a cat AND a dog. Interesting to note, I've been keeping my cat in a travel carrier at night. I recently noticed lots of dark brown reddish spots in the bottom of the carrier. I thought they might be the remnants of scabs, but when I wiped them up and looked at them under a microscope, I could clearly see that they were egg casings that the mites had broken out of. Now I know what to look for in order to know when my cat is over them in hopes that he won't be passing them back to me. Obviously, I'll be looking at the bottom of the carrier to see if it is free of the dark brown reddish egg casings. I'm taking close to a double dose (1-1.5g) of horse paste now with a high fat intake to increase its efficacy and bioavailablity by 2-1/2 times. I'm also using coconut oil when I feel any itching as it is very soothing to the skin. The coconut oil will also smother the mites as any oil will coat their breathing holes in their body and inhibit their ability to breathe. I like coconut oil better than other oils because, being a medium chain fatty acid, it will not ruin your clothes. Coconut oil also smells so good and is a great natural deodorant too. I also use coconut oil in my food everyday for health benefits. I buy it in five gallon containers. The Ivermectin horse paste worked great the last time, a year ago, and I suspect I will see the same success shortly. Just for the record, this is the fourth time I have caught cooties in ten years. I feel confident that I will be over this ordeal soon. |
