Peter Waters has never helped a single rosacea sufferer. Not only that, he has injured rosacea sufferers with his Red Light Therapy Home Made Devices and his advice. Just a few of the worst pieces of Peter Waters Advice: 1. Use sun tan lamps for rosacea!!!??? 2. Fight through skin inflammation and redness!!!!??? 3. Fight through RLT burning and pain!!!??? Below is a great post by Dr. Nase on his site regarding Peter's complete lack of rosacea knowledge and his dangerous treatment advice (if you call it that): "Despite the overwhelming evidence for RLt-induced skin burns and skin damage documented by the FDA and the UK Medical Regulatory Commission, especially in 2010 and 2011 when newbie rosacea sufferers are combining powerful RLT with IRLT together based on advice from novices without any training in electrical engineering or medical device research and development, people need to put up a yield sign and be very cautious. This is especially true with Peter Waters, the self proclaimed RLT Guru of the UK who is dispensing medical advice in forums on complex medical devices that baffle even the most experienced bio-medical engineers. Two direct forum quotes for the day from Peter Waters... two of my favorites. Instructional and inspirational. These are direct quotes taken from Rosacea Forums in November of 2008: "I have some old spare red tubes you can have which should fit into a facial tanning unit if you can pick one up." I don't even know where to start correcting this statement? It's completely off the radar. "Spare Red Bulbs"... are you serious? What brand (because they must be made by the same manuacturer), what upper, lower and safety voltage limits, what wattage (as every bulb is different), what size and shape, and how old are these "spare bulbs?"... what is the upper limit before voltage spikes affect the light intensity which greatly increases the chance for skin burns, blisters, permanent skin discoloration, etc. Jeepers. You don't pass around bulbs or substitute bulbs. Manufacturers make very specific bulbs for each machine. These are not interchangeable GI Joe parts -- these changes pose serious and substantial harm to the skin. "Put them in a tanning unit if you can pick one up". No comment is necessary on this one because the danger speaks for itself... is there a spare-parts tanning unit dumpsite somewhere with interchangeable Red Light Bulbs that we can shove into tanning machines that only use dangerous UVA and UVB bulbs... seriously, are we working with Legos? Do you know how dangerous this advice is on at least 15 different bio-mechanical and bio-engineering levels. "Do you still have the Dermalux Acne lamp and did it help your acne? How long did you use it for i.e. weeks or months? Blue might cause you a reaction but it would be easy enough to convert to all red".

This is great stuff Donna. You can't make this up and when you add it to his ridiculous "rosacea photos" without rosacea... that's the last nail in his coffin. Nobody has ever asked. HAS PETER EVER HELPED A SINGLE ROSACEA SUFFERER? Publications, new subtypes, treatments, etc, etc. No... never.

Peter, Have you ever looked at your own threads. You post to yourself dozens of times. This is the sign of a mentally unstable narcissist. We all have lives, so we actually take breaks from this silly board. Obviously you don't. KEEP ON TALKING TO YOURSELF AND POSTING TO YOURSELF. It's not only sad, it's creepy.

Nase If this board is so silly then why do you spend all your time on here posting under different aliases? Too scared eh to use your own name or have they banned you from yet another Rosacea Forum? We all know this isn't the real Jason Cornelius. I bet he would be horrified if he knew what you were saying under his ID. How low are you prepared to sink Nase? I was told you were a complete and utter coward and with everyday that passes you proof it even more. One day you will have to get a proper job and that will kill you.

Peter Waters Spelling/Grammar Mistakes 101 Peter, we know you're not a doctor. Peter, we know you are not a college graduate. Peter, we know you've never been married or held down a real job Peter, that does not erase your misunderstanding of "proof" and "prove" Peter states incorrectly, "I was told you were a complete and utter coward and with everyday that passes you proof it even more." Peter, do you understand that you can't use "proof" in this sentence. You must use "prove". It's complicated. For our next lesson we will go over why you use "two" and "too". What a tool

You just can't get enough of the first post and the lunacy that Peter Waters adds. Its fun picking him apart.

Dr. Peter Waters recommends that rosacea sufferers use tanning units! Not only that, but "used" tanning units that may be dysfunctional. Dr. Waters is an inspiration to the entire rosacea community with that cutting edge, safe, effective advice.

John, Does anyone need any additional proof that Peter should be taken to the glue factory... yeah.... everybody purchase a used tanning unit and use it on your rosacea. If you questioned 1,000 doctors about this treatment you would get 0 supporters.

Peter also recommends that you put your head in a microwave to cure rosacea. He is a true saint.

In the history of rosacea posts on any forum, Peter Waters has given the most dangerous and profoundly stupid rosacea advice EVER. "Use self tanning units to treat rosacea" For as dumb as Peter Waters is, this still perplexes me (and everybody else). Sun is the top trigger for rosacea progression and self tanning units burn skin and are the worst devices to use on normal skin... let alone rosacea damaged skin. We need to make a poster out of this saying and make sure Peter Waters gets full credit for it. They may debate this statement for the next century, but there really are very few words to explain how bad and dangerous this advice is. Wowzers. Peter -- are you suppose to pretreat with Hydrochloric Acid before putting your face under the self tanning device? Does it help if you use sandpaper to peel off all your skin too? What about nails... can you hammer nails into your rosacea to treat it? I also have a staple gun... can I staple my red nose to get rid of the redness? Should I put my face under a lawnmower... would that help Peter. Can't wait for the next issue of "Peter Waters Guide to Rosacea Treatments". Classic. All time best Peter.

This is one of the reasons so many people dislike you Peter... you are a danger to the rosacea community.

He is indeed a dangerous fork tongued snake. He continues to post very dangerous content to newbies.... "Fight through the flushing and burning with Red Light Therapy as this will go away". This goes against the advice of every NRS doctor and every medical article ever written on rosacea. You listen to your skin and you stop immediately if it hurts during any treatment. Very bad advice MR. Waters.

I see Peter Waters continues to give out advice to "fight through RLT burning and flushing". He does not have an ethical bone in his body.

First re-read the first post. In the history of rosacea posts, has there ever been a worse one? Peter is actually tellihg rosacea sufferers (newbies who don't know anybetter) to stick their faces in front of self tanning devices to treat their rosacea. Ludicrous.

Absolutely the worst advice... worse than topical steroids

Please frame these statements by Peter Waters. They are the worst I've every seen or read. These are actually worse than recommending topical steroids. Somebody tell him that a 9th grade education makes it difficult to recommend pathophysiology and cutting edge treatments ("pathophysiology" means how you got the disorder and "treatments" mean how you fix the disorder and "difficult" means hard) AND That taking 20 bromelain tablets and then writing a three paragraph article is not actually a major, peer-reviewed journal article. Honest-injin -- I was laughing so hard that tears actually fell onto my laptop when I read his silly, false, poorly written three paragraphs on absolute B.S.

Peter, So you are saying the IU school of medicine never heard of nase? He didn't even get his PhD? Hmmmm.... I am not surprised. Wow. I see you guys weren't exaggerating. This guy is one fat-head NUT. I can certainly see why Artist wouldn't have given him the time of day. Is this why nases wife left him - bc he was hitting on Artist?
