The people that were driving the vehicle had NO injuries what-so-ever, my baby nephew is the one with the injuries. The article is wrong, it was a 1 yr old boy, not a girl. here's a better story.

My mother had permission to hold a garage sale there.
I JUST know that the little girl ran off, and the father and mother took the blame. Police said since the father and mother admitted that one of them was driving and taking blame for the accident they couldn't investigate our story of the 13 yr old girl. Since the little girl was not located and the man would not give any info on the girl, they couldn't do anything about it. That's what we were told. And i apologize, they did take the information about the girl, but like i said, Parents took the blame and that's all the police needed. especially since it was a HORRIBLE accident and no alcohol or drugs were involved.
And the drivers were not hispanic, they were of Indian Descent. So please no rude remarks about hispanic people, since we are hispanic. thanks for your comments and concerns.
If I were you I would get a good lawyer. Also when you speak with there insurance company, if they even had insurance, you have one h.e.l.l. of a case.

I wouldn't believe what the cops told you - I would definately publicize this case.

Great case, except that they were conducting a garage sale illegally on a public right-of way.

i know, i wrote what i wrote, and i should have separated the comment about the drivers and the comment about my nephews injuries. When i said "i visited him today" i thought people would put two and two together, the only people that went to the hospital were the toddler and the caregiver. Didnt think it was be that big of a deal.

I'm done, it happened and its done. We did nothing illegal if we had permission to hold the garage sale like i stated above. We do have a lawyer and we're correctly investigating. Didnt think an idiotic driver would lose control of a car and jump a curb. And the toddler was on the sidewalk.. isnt that where its supposed to be safe?? i just wanted to inform readers of what really happened. This will be my last post...

Thanks...

That actually does not mitigate the injuries to the child and his care taker. Someone could have just as easily been walking by - the garage sale is irrelovant.

why was the care provider not behind a fence? It almost looks like they were working a garage sale. If she was responsible for the one year old then why be outside doing personal things instead of being where it is safe?
I am a childcare provider. If I did that I would be brought up on charges and shut down.
But then there are parents who do stupid things and loose their children over it. But that is a different soap box.
first off you have no idea what you are talking about and the situation so you have no room to talk. the childs provider was his mother and she was looking at the stuff to buy

Wow... how sad! I hope and pray that this child will be okay. As for the other party, some people ( on this site) need to stop being so judgmental towards others and I will say that although it was wrong for them to have allowed this 13 yr old to drive no one on here has any right to say anything! You people need to worry over yourselves! what type of parent are you? i'm sure most of u will say that u are a good parent. You are all some sad individuals on here. I hope that this 13 yr old will be able to forgive herself for her bad judgment and I hope that she is not left with a heavy burden of guilt. Most of all I hope that she never sees this site because it's a well known fact that some teens find suicide as an answer when they feel, hear and see all the ugly things that people can be... Daily Horoscope for June 3

Scorpio

You need a little light relief at the moment and one of the best ways to find it today is to get together with someone who always makes you laugh. You might even want to tell them what's going on in your life at the moment so you can get their perspective on it. This will help to keep your feet on the ground and then you won't feel quite so miserable or beset by problems.
