I have had Parkinson for over six years. I have a shake which is, to an extent, controlled by pills. I still work. I work as a Sales and Promotions Manager for a large London Minicab company. I see an experienced Parkinson nurse once every three months. Someone who had Parkinson gave me some good advice when I started out with my new life-style. His comment was if you go to the Doctors they will blame the Parkinsons! I laughed - then I felt sad. Not for me but because with this wonderful internet, I can ask a simple question to those of you who have PD, across the Globe and get an authoritive answer. The questions have probably been asked and answered many times, but occasionally a gem, a golden nugget of an idea, is found.

So I have decided to ask you one simple question a day and wait for a simple answer.

The nature of the job I do means odd hours. The pills I take are not odd. I take them at 8am - 12 noon - 16.00pm. What should I do at 3am in the office when I start to shake?

Thanks!

have you tries spreading your pill times out. i was having problems with waking in thr middle of the night from the tremors. i tried spacing my meds out to 8:00, 14:00, and 20:00, and found that it gave me some relief. let me know what happens.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Taurus

Time is hurtling towards Christmas Day and it seems that you're in a panic about how you're going to get everything done in time. You may even have reached the stage where you've ground to a halt because you don't know what to do first. So take a deep breath, calm down and do things one at a time. Otherwise you'll end up feeling confused, tired and tearful.
