For years I have been researching migraines.
The leading migraine researchers in the world, my colleagues, are coming to the evidential conclusion that migraines are directly related to hormone production by specialized cells known as hormone receptor cells.
Within these cells can be found the generic link. The DNA genome of the mitochondria of these cell comes only from the mother, i.e. the material link to migraines.
My work has been in the development of a specific formula that prevent migraines by modulating the performance of these cells. Currently we have been successful in over 80% of the cases where a hormone association can be found, i.e. for women who have migraines within 3 days of the start of their menstrual period. Within the past two years I have helped more than 5,000 people become migraine free.
If you have migraines, I would like to visit with you or if you have questions, send me an email at lxhenry@cox.net

I have cluster headaches usually every couple of weeks. i dont know if these are related to migraines, but i was wondering if you had any info on a slight twist that i have when a headache is coming on. I get a very cold feeling on the back side of my head. within a few minutes, it feels like something cold and liquid is "trickling" down the back of my head. the sensation is similar to when you bump you head on something and it FEELS like its bleeding but its not. As soon as that starts its usually only a few minutes until the headache hits me. they last hours although an ice pack does seem to help the intensity and duration. these started about three years ago after being diagnosed with the West Nile Virus. Ive tried Imatrex and several other general pain medications, including several narcotics. None of them seem to help. any info on other medications or your opinion on what the "bleeding" sensation might be would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes when I go from air conditioning into Florida's hot muggy heat or vice versa I will get a headache, sometimes it turns into a really long headache sometimes not. I have suffered from migraines before but since I am going thru menopause I don't get them as often. Is it a migraine or some kind of sinus problem?

I have migraine & cluster headaches.I take Imitrex when i have it & when i catch it @ the onset of the h/a .I also use ice pack & lie down, close blinds, lights out, quiet room & try to go to sleep. The cluster h/a I do same as above except I don't take Imitrex ,they only work on migraines, I take 2 aspirins .(or Tylenols?)If you don't have Insurance or some kind of coverage ,Imitrex cost ? about $300.00. They come in packs (amounts) of 6-9-& 12 (I think) I have not always had Ins.coverage. I have horror stories of that type, needing meds. but no Ins.,& no money(not the hundreds of $$$ they cost)

The migraine medication "Realpac" helped me much more than Imitrex. With it, I never had to go to bed and do the things you describe (which I had to do when taking Imitrex). I was able to function normally. It did bother my sleep, however, but it may help you. I now take Maxalt which disolves on the tongue. Both of these are prescriptions but they may not be as expensive. star wrote: I have migraine & cluster headaches.I take Imitrex when i have it & when i catch it @ the onset of the h/a .I also use ice pack & lie down, close blinds, lights out, quiet room & try to go to sleep. The cluster h/a I do same as above except I don't take Imitrex ,they only work on migraines, I take 2 aspirins .(or Tylenols?)If you don't have Insurance or some kind of coverage ,Imitrex cost ? about $300.00.
