Most of us would agree that the purchase of a bed is one of the biggest decisions that we will have to make in life. Therefore getting this right is essential, after all what's more important than your health? And getting that good nights sleep is just what the doctor may order.

However it seems as though the choice in beds and mattresses for the heavier individual is somewhat limited, they are either forced into buying a product that may not well be heavy duty enough to last them or paying thousands and thousands of pounds to get a product tailor made just for their weight.

The Reinforced Bed Company provides heavy duty reinforced bed frames and mattresses at reasonable prices. The Wrought Iron beds are made from high grade steel and have been tested on weights up to a tonne. Where as the mattresses are made with heavy duty thick springs that will give comfort and support to the individual and will last!

As an alternative for North Americans, the Pragma series of metal bed frames, as seen at http://www.pragmabed.com/products-page , appear to be a great choice at a very reasonable price. Even the basic twin-size frame can hold up to 1300 lbs., when many frames that size would be hard pressed to deal with 350 lbs.

I found a good source for a guest (and myself at 300 LBS) using this site. What is nice about the site is that they have research the weigh capacities and categorized all the options for you. Saved me a lot of time.
