I am overwieght and I was wondering how fast it would take for me to lose wieght just by running about 2 miles a day.

If you are overweight/you should not be running, you should see a dietititian, and depending on your age, you would be put on a 1200- 1500 or 1800 cal diet.
You would see a physician who would probably recommend
swimming exercise and water aerobics. You could give yourself a heart attack, if you are that overweight, by running. Your doctor might suggest joining the gym, and working out with light weights, and go from there! Never start an excerise regime without proper counselling from a certified and qualified practitioner! Hope this helps.

i used to starve myself 2 lose weight and i did. i was 197 and i went down to 125. im tall and have big bones, so i looked less than 125, people used to tell me i looked anorexic, back then i was so happy when they said that, because i wanted to be skinny all my life, and finnaly i was skinny. then i went to the doctor and she said i have anemia, and two ulcers. then slowly i started to eat again now i'm still trying to gain a little weight and its soooo hard 4 me! i would have never thought that it would be hard for me to gain weight.... but it is

Eating Healthy is a great rule to follow: Healthy body, healthy mind. Fruits ,Vegetables, whole grains, and Dairy products. Your ulcers will heal, but you have to be careful to stay away from acidic foods.
Oranges,Grapefruits, and Tomato, also some soft drinks, can affect an ulcer.Healthy Bodies come in all shapes and sizes. As long as you eat properly and feel alright, that's the main thing. Congratulations on your weight loss.Try to regain your health by healing your ulcers.

thanx yes whenver i drink any kind of juice my stomch starts to burn...i asked my doctor and she said that i couldn't eat ANYTHING with acidity in it

I just had a baby 7 weeks ago. If I do cardo for 30 min, 3 times a week for 5 months... do you think I can lose 100 pounds? I've been working out for 3 weeks so far.

Cardio is only one part of the solution, it will get the weight off fast but you need to change your metabolism to make it permanent. The ONLY way to change your metabolism is to gain muscle. Muscle burns more calories (at rest even) than fat does. So, the more muscle you have the more energy you burn in the form of calories. Even muscle at rest like when you are sleeping is burning energy. The safest way to gain muscle is with resistance training (weight training). A combination of cardio and resistance training will get the weight off in a safe way, and will be more lasting than diet or cardio alone. You may not see a dramatic weight loss, but you will see a very dramatic loss in waist, stomach, arm, etc. Remember, stay of the scale, you weight can change up to 5 pounds a day through natural fluctuations. You weight is a combination of muscle, fatty tissue, bones, and water. Lose the fat and gain the muscle is the best way to go.

Losing weight fast is never a good idea. If you do cardio every other day and in between do some weights, you will be happy with the results. As long as you limit intake of bad calories.

running 2 miles per day is plenty of excersice. It would be better to do that every second day and on the days off do some light weights or something.

I want to lose all of my fat but i cant help my cravings for sweets and im way to lazy i mean im teased and i want to lose a whole lot of weight but i cant im not saying that im so lazy i can run i was in track but only for a little bit. I need HELP!!!!!!!

If you are an obese person, should you lose the weight first through cardio and then weight train after a significant amount of weight has been lost, or should you do both (cardio and weights) together?
