Very Well Written! Portrays well the courage and character of the Rayburns, and the importance of loving support from family and friends and even strangers as they login to Tish's blog. Their openness and honesty about this monster of a disease helps all of us deal with it and put it in perspective with all of life. Factual and compassionate without being sappy.

I have also had a bout with Cancer this year. I had a Modified Radical Macetomy of my left breast on Feb. 20th.
I had not only the breast but my lymph nodes removed. I was very fortunate as I did not have to go through chemo or radiation. I thank God everyday that I didn't have to.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God will take care of you.
You are now amoung the growing list of survivors. who know that God is always with them.
I wish you continued good health so that you can return to your family and your students who really love you.
Take care and God bless you always.

Dear, Ms. Rayburn.
Trust in god for all your strength
He loves you and is watching over you.
PSALM 56:3-4

4 "In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

I taught pre-school with Tish in 2004 and 05.
I am now in Alaska and just heard from a friend that Tish died in April of 08'. I just want to say what a delight she was. And I want to tell her boys how much she adored you both!!!
I am sorry for your lose. I hope that you will live on your lives as she would have wanted and carry on her vibrant smile and laughter.
