Do Herbal Meds Help Osteoarthritis? Probably Not

Jan 16, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: MediLexicon

A comprehensive review of herbal medicine products in the latest issue of the Drug and Therapeutics Bulletin shows that there is little conclusive evidence to justify the widespread use of herbal medicines to relieve the symptoms of the painful joint condition osteoarthritis.

Using medication that is not approved by your doctor for osteoporosis may not help with your illness, in fact it could make it worse when you think about the possible side effects the medication may have. Fosamax lawsuits have been built around side effects of these drugs that are supposed to help people. http://www.rotlaw.com/fosamax/

Indeed herbal medicine has no clinical studies showing how effective it can be in getting rid of any form of health problems such as osteoarthritis. See also http://www.depuypinnaclelawsuit.com/

Your doctor could be classified as psychotic (IMO) in not using available treatments in herbal chemistry for your health and welfare. Certainly the pharmaceutical industry has mislead the public whereas herbal products have been around for millions of years and I haven't read of anyone harmed like with the conventional medicines that have killed and maimed millions of persons including children.

I wouldn't have a doctor that didn't incorporate herbal products into their practice.

As far as taking medications go, it is always better to err on the side of caution and to ask a professional. But it also helps to be informed: http://fosamaxbonefractures.typepad.com/blog/

Here,s a hint to investigate. I warn you not to become enraged at your doctor as he doesn't know considering the pharmacutical sales force and the misinformation in his profession

DL pheylalanine.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE DRUG TESTING WAS ABOUT IN EACH STATE? The pharmaceutical industry wants control of this amino just like they did with the Amino Acid Tryptophan in the same time frameframe as Prozac came in the market. The Republicans (ALEC) are class A slime..

Any evidence that herbal or alternative medications work is anecdotal at best so if anyone claims that these alternative forms of medication works they should do a great deal of research and ask their healthcare provider first before taking any. http://www.fosamaxclassactionlawsuit.com

Healthcare providers receive their information from the pharmacutical industry. The pharmacutical Industry has been less then truthful in their research of drugs killing thousands worldwide.

Remember that before you start taking any medication or undergo any treatment, make sure that it is doctor recommended. It is important that you go through a medical check up first to determine the proper medication you should take. If the medicine prescribed doesn't seem to take its effect on you, ask your doctor for an alternative one.

Vioxx, Statin drugs along with the pharmaceutical mind drugs and many other drugs is a good reason to question any drug prescribed by any doctor and to look for alternative medication
