I HAVE A TWELVE YEAR OLD SON WITH BELLS' PALSEY. HEGOES TO HIS DENTIST REGULARLY AND HAS BEEN REFERED FOR BRACES. HEIS ON MEDICAID AND I CANNOT FIND AN ORTHODONTIST WHO TAKES IT. WE LIVE IN WILMINGTON NC. IS THERE ANY HELP?

In wv medicaid will pay for braces if they feel it is severe..my daughter had the most awful teeth I had saw and medicaid paid for every dime of her braces..she has had them on for 2 yrs now and her teeth are beautiful now, they are coming off in 6 more months..i would call medicaid in your state, they do pay for most orthodontist if a dentist refers you..p.s. they dont have to be that bad for the orthodonist to call them severe, I guess they like the pay from medicaid..

There is a wonderful orthodontist in Charlotte, who I am sure would love to help you. His name is Dr. Pinna. He is currently woking with my neice and her teeth look great. He also takes Medicaid. I will try and get his phone number for you soon, Good Luck!!!!

my grandson mouth is very bad with one tooth protruding straigth out front and one tooth straight back he si 9 yrs old and the kids are really making fun of him. he is on medicare they live at holden bch nc are there any orthdonist in nc or sc that will take medicare.

I live in southport nc my daughter needs braces and we are on medicad. we went to burgaw year ago they would not do anythiong until all baby teeth were out well all baby teeth are gone now one more year has gone stell waiting no orthodontist now where do i go. Kids are so hateful they make her fell so bad i cant stand to see my child hurting never smiles it is so sad when you cant find a orthodonist close by someone please help all of the parents that need a medicaid orthdontist;;;;;;;;;;;;;

My daughter had braces that were done by Dr. Penna in NC and we have moved to Upstate NY (Troy/Albany area) for family reasons. I can't seem to find an orthodontist that accepts NY Medicaid. I called Medicaid and they said there are no lists for orthodontists. All I need is to have them removed and my son has an arch that was supposed to be removed in April and now his gum is growing over the arch and no one seems to want to take them off. This is affecting his health. Please if you have any suggestions.

medicaid will not pay for my two daughters to get braces for there teeth. one has a very bad overbite she says that she looks ugly and kids make fun of her at school. one ha overcrowding teeth to where she she does not have much confindence in her self she want hardly smile at all. please help
