Exposure to too much zinc can cause MS-like symptoms. People are sometimes misdiagnosed: http://excessive-zinc-causes-m ultiple-scleros...

I am an officer in Ohio. I was diagnosis with MS a little over 2 years ago. I have not yet informed my employer of my MS. I would love to hear from other officers and their experiences before I notify my employer.
I was a K-9 handler when I was diagnosed with MS. I requested reasonable accommodation under the American with disabilities act. They gave me another job as a civilian. I struggle walking every now and then, but at least I have a job.

I have recently been diagnosed with MS. I work for a very small department in Texas and it puts a large strain on them for me to have to work office duty while I try to get through this episode and regain the strength of my left side back. I have asked the doctors about returning to full duty, but he has not given me any hope at this time. We work single officer shifts and the doctor is not willing to sign off on me working by myself. I'm just trying to get any information that can help me get back to the job I've always wanted to do, or atleast the hope that I can return to it at some point. If anyone has any information please post back or email me at hnharding506@yahoo.com

Thanks

My husband is 30 and wants to work in law enforcement. Many of his friends are either CHP or police officers. He was diagnosed with MS seven years ago, takes copaxone and other than two initial episodes, has had no problems with abilities the last five years. He had a consultation at Stanford last year and was advised to keep on doing what he's doing. He's physically active, in good health otherwise. Does he have a chance in getting a job in law enforcement? He's worried that as soon as they know he has MS that he will be disqualified.

Daily Horoscope for November 11

Pisces

The Moon activates your seventh house of marriage and partnership today, giving your closest relationships a rosy glow. Even unions that are experiencing hard times can benefit from this influence; call a truce and let love and caring work their magic. A quiet dinner by candlelight followed by an evening stroll should set the mood just right.
