So here's the deal. I am a senior in high school and a member of the ski club at school. Every Friday after school we drive about 2 hours up to the mountains. This is my 3rd year as a member of the club. The first year I had absolutely no problems, but the first trip of last year everything changed. I was 100% fine on the way up, however on the way home I had a terrible migraine which lead to extreme nausea. Ever since that night, the bus rides both to and from the mountain are hell. I sit in the front, keep my eyes focused on the horizon, and wear sea bands, however I still get sick. What's really weird is that this is the only times when I get motion sick. I have no problems in the car, on boats, on planes, on trains, and even on the same kind of bus if I'm going on a field trip or something. So now I'm thinking that the whole reason that I get so sick is because of that first trip of my junior year. Is it possible that the motion sickness is a mental thing? And if so, how do I stop it, because I can't stand it anymore.
Please help! |
