I am so sick of the one way trade policies this country has had now for decades. We allow virtually anyone in the world to sell anything in this country, while we in turn are locked out of markets around the world. Meanwhile we are running ridiculous trade imbalances (especially with Asian countries...Japan, Korea, China).

If the South Koreans don't want to buy our beef...fine. We should immediately stop the importation of autos and electronics from them. Oh, but I forgot, we couldn't stop importing their electronics because we don't make any here any longer.

Will we ever learn?

people should be free to buy whatever they want. no threats should be needed. if u want customers, improve your product, give the customer what they want.

My comment may be late, but I just finished reading Fast Food Nation and have not eaten meat since finishing the book. Why are we forcing another nation to purchase our beef? If they don't want it, why is their own government foisting it on them? And who is in collusion with the U.S. meatpacking industry to shove our products, especially beef, on to other nations -- the USDA? the FDA? Bush and his cronies? McDonald's? Leave the South Koreans be.

I will never understand either. The us policy is clear, close all factories in US and buy from somewhere else. Sooner or later those MsDonald hamburger jobs that are left won't buy anything.

Hope you aren't eating any heavy chemical treated veggies as well.
