This is my first time speaking about Lupus to people who know what I am going through - aside from my doctor, but she doesn't know from personal experience -
With that said, I am currently on, among other things, 15mg of Methotrexate a week (take all 6 pills at once one day a week). It has been amazing for my joint pain and skin, but 1-2 days a week, without fail, I get a fever. The doctor thinks it is from the Lupus as those days are around the time I am due for my next dosage. However, I think it is the drug since I didn't have the fevers prior to taking methotrexate but then again, it could be my flare up has worsened.
My fevers used to go from 102.7 up to 104. I realized when I up my prednisone to 20mg on those days, the fevers are much lower *highest being 101.
So, my question is, if you are also on methotrexate, do you also get fevers or is it just me and my lupus?
