Our grandaughter was sick with what everyone thought was a virus it was about a week or so and she had coxsocky virus. They kept going back and forth to the doctor and they kept saying it was viral, so come this past friday she was suddenly not able to walk, they brought her to the stony Brook Medical center in Stony Brook ny and found out after many tests that this beautiful Little 1 yr old girl was diagnosed with Lukemia..........Ok, yesterday was the first day of a long rd ahead. Yesterday they put the port in where they will be administering Kemo and other drugs. Today they do the test to see if its reached her bones and brain, which will tell them what stage shes at, and she will also be starting Kemo today.
