Judge it!
I'm a 41 year old male that had a Ultrafast Electron Beam Computed Tomography of the Chest, Abdomen, and Pelvis with Oral Contrast the results should a questionable small density at periphery of the right kidney. The impression stated 1 CM density of the periphery of the kidney. Too small to characterize.
Can you provide any additional feedback or thoughts?

What did your doctor recommend? I would advise you to see a urologist immediately. I had renal cell carcinoma and had my kidney, lymph nodes and adrenal gland removed. You don't want to take any chances. Get a second opinion right away. Good luck.

i had a cat scan today on my kidney to check it. i have had 2 previous surgeries for kidney stones. i cannot see my doctor for another 2 weeks but got results from this CT. i was told there is vague density and i'm in the process of getting my films from prior catscans as requested. what does vague density mean? what are the possibilities? could it be cancer?

I had a UTI back in August 2008 . They treated me with 2 different courses of antibiotics and it wouldnt go away, I ended up in the ER where a CT of the abdomen detected 2 masses. 1 on the L Kidney @ 5cm..and 1 on the R kidney @ 1.5cm
I went for a Urogram today (injected dye and CT) I am waiting for the results. The only symtom I have is fatigue. I am hoping for the best .... hopefully it isnt anything serious , also trying to prepare myslef if it is ...... Very scared at this point! |
