I should have asked my friend to dispense them to me at least they would have been able to keep tabs on them. Ambien is great, one must be very responsible though. Now the withdrawals are a whore different monster. If you take them only at night you;ll find a lot of help on the net. If you are a daily rec user, as I am, I have no idea how to ween and taper with least amount of anxiety. I have 90 10mg pills left and want to use them for sleep, but I have to get over last night. Very very anxious. Took a valium 5mg, not much help there. Now have taken 1 10mg ambien about an hour ago. Any help??: Please e-mail me at: humannatr3@hotmail.com

I realize I have abused the meds most recently and like MEL, I 'use'...to bring down the stress level that have heightened in my life the last several months. I would rather feel happy and not fight with my hub over miniscule things. I will keep you all in my prayers! BTW, I have taken ambien right before I get in bed but, it seems to work opposite for me...I end up getting out of bed. I refuse to take more than 10mg, could it be that my system may have become adapted? Has anyone gone through a similar experience?
