I'm 15, going on 16 in a few months, and I've been having lots of hot flashes,(3 just today) and even a few night sweats. I've tried googleing information, but everything that comes up is about older women and menopause.
Any ideas of whats going on?
anyone

it might be premenstrual problems/fluctuating hormones, hot/humid climate, lack of movement, poor circulation, high blood pressure.. it could be a thryroid problem or fibromyalgia...

im 18 i have the same problem, but im on the Pill..which is supposed to stop hot flashes!
u should probably go to the doctor tho..

Hello,

I was reading your comments and would like to make a suggestion. I have suffered from hot flashes. I tried a product called CHILL Cooling Towels and they worked great. They require no refrigeration so I can keep them in my purse, they come out of the package COLD! Let me know how they work for you. Check out their website www.chilltowels.com .

Good luck,

I started having hot flashes when I was 22. It turned out to be premature ovarian failure also known as POF. At the time, there the doctors were not able to diagnose me because of my age and there was little known about POF. I went through a program at the National Institute of Health (NIH) where I was finally diagnosed. I have been on HRT but it only helped a little. I've been using some sprays and lotions that are working at www.stoppinghotflashes.com . That has worked best for me. I'm now in my 20th year of hot flashes. It's really no fun.

To All,

The posting from Lourdes Torbisco is a marketing scam designed to look like a real posting but she's actually a sales rep working for Chill Towels. Also, she's pretty young so I doubt she even knows what a hot flash is all about.

I'm sorry that Jamie Lanford feels that Lourdes's comments are a scam. I'm the President and CEO of CHILL Towels and I suggest that anyone suffering from hot flashes and/or night sweats go to www.chilltowels.com and review our hot flash section. CHILL is endorsed by at least 6 menopausal websites.
I would feel more comfortable about Jamie's comments if they were made about the product, not the person, and yes, Lourdes should have identified herself as a CHILL sales rep.
One last point I just tried to locate a Jamie Lanford in Key West and there is none listed so I have to assume that these comments were made by one of our competitors who has done this in the past.
Sorry, if we misled anyone.

As far as I know, Hot flashes usually happens when estrogen levels drop and it creates imbalance within your body, which often happens to women that goes through menopause.

In your case, I do not know what to say actually, I've heard of some odds occasion when hot flashes happens on young ladies while blushing, still the best you can do is making an appointment with your doctor.

Cheers.
