Black Women in Atlanta Face HIV Crisis | Breaking News for Black America

Atlanta is in the midst of a crisis because the rate in which African-American women in the city are being infected with HIV is now being compared to some third world countries. Studies have shown that black women now make up 60 percent of newly reported HIV cases. The CDC has reported that 1 of every 30 black women will be diagnosed with HIV in their lifetime. 11 Alive Atlanta reports.

Do BW understand how HIV is transmitted?

Well the 2000 or so blacks that live with over 42,000 whites in my city don't have that problem. I thought Atlanta was just one big ghetto. LMAO!!! Kind of like all the big cities.

Some women just don't know how to keep their legs closed.
Any way, how would the CDC know if 1 in 30 black women will be diagnosed with HIV in their life time? What the F*ck are these people pyshcic's? R.O.T.F.L.M.B.O!!!!!!
Thank God NONE of the black women I am close to have it, including me. I have only known of two black woman who had it, but they passed away about 14-20 years ago.

Past history and developing trends are good indicators for future HIV infections.

Sounds like to me that their picking on Black women for having the disease in order to fuel more racism than trying to find a cure for this disease. If they just instead spent all that time money and resources on finding a CURE for AIDS rather than seeing how many BLACK people have the disease, we wouldve been CURED by now. I swear this whole statiatic thing is being used AGAINST us in order to make the Black race look BAD. These people have an agenda I know it.

And plus, we already KNOW supposedly whos suffering from the disease more but yet they COUNTINE to do study after study on BLACK women who have the disease. Its RACIST and MADE to DEGRADE Black women and to reenforce to the WORLD the Jezebel stereotype and how Black women have no self control and are ignorant

HIV/AIDS does not target a specific race. HIV/AIDS is an equal oppurtunity diesese. Blacks have more HIV due to the fact they protect themselves less from the virus than other races. Your post shows ignorance and is one of the reasons blacks have more HIV than other races.

Blacks as well as everyone needs to protect themselves. But it's also ridiculous how every 3-6 weeks. There is another study done on Black people or Black women specifically. As if we are some different species to be studied.
When you break down these "studies". It has less to do with race and more to do with socioeconomic backgrounds. But to constantly spend so much money and press time. Basically attacking Black women. There seems to be a racist element behind it.

Actually no YOUR post shows ignorance. There is NO protection against HIV even people who DONT have sex can get HIV. People who are fighting with another person whos infected with HIV and their blood enters an open wound, healthcare field workers whos exposed to BLOOD 24/7 THEY can get the virus. So lets not assume that all these women did not get it through SEX because their are MANY ways to get the disease. And notice its NEVER EVER EVER White middle class women who are at risk its BLACK WOMEN who are ALWAYS at risk or AFRICA thats at risk NOT Europe so dont give me this bullcrap about it being an "equal opportunity" factor.

Or if men just wore condoms. Then there would not be a problem because for every woman that is getting it. There is sure to he!l at least 1 man getting it. Unless black women are f!cking the same guy(who has aids) over and over again without giving it much thought. HIV/Aids can be stopped with a condom. I know for a fact I am 100% clean because I have never been with a woman. So Aids and STDs is not on me.

Tests have shown that latex condoms can prevent the passage of the HIV.

Theres negative stats on Black people in general.

Black men are in prison
Black children cant swin
Black women are single, obese, and single mothers
Black women die from aggressive breast cancer

Skinner said Westerman is resource management specialist in the same office as Lindsey. His LinkedIn webpage had said he was a night watchman.

The two share a home in Decatur.

Police believe the couple involved a six-year-old boy in sex acts in their house.

According to police, a medical professional tipped officers off to the child molestation case, and while detectives were investigating, they found photographs of Lindsey that led them to charge her with bestiality. They said that that offense did not involve the child.
