The rich need tax breaks more than the people need to survive.

He engaged in risky behaviors and taxpayers have to medically/financially support him for the rest of his life? No wonder healthcare costs are out of control.

Perhaps, but he also might have contracted the disease through a blood transfusion.

Bill, Bill, Bill....please.....you don't know how he contracted AIDS. It was not stated in the article.

There are other ways to contract AIDS than through "risky behaviors". Pull you head out of the sand.

My brother-in-law had AIDS and died from liver failure. Taking 15 drugs a day takes its toll. If the disease doesn't kill you, the cure will.

And, he might be a long term survivor, as am I, contracting the virus before anything was known about it.

It wasn't considered risky behavior then. It was just sex. Sex, even straight people were doing it.

I'm dying of liver failure, too, but no government supports me, and I am no burden to the taxpayers.

The destitute and downtrodden make good news coverage, but it's not the whole story. Not by half, and half again.

Pundits get paid. They are entertainers. Believing some of their garbage is silly. Look at life for it really is.

You know Bill you talk about he engaged in risky behaviors, 1. We don't know he engaged in anything nor do we know how he contracted it, 2. What about all the people that smoke out there and continue to this day even though they know what can happen; come on get real

The CEO was not available for comment because she was to busy "playing" at a horse show as the agency crumbles around her.
Also, don't most non-profits have a Board of Directors? What are they doing to prevent this agency from closing its doors? I hold them responsable.

Daily Horoscope for November 28

Pisces

You might feel edgy as the sensitive Moon remains in your second house of personal values and finances. Protecting your assets and defending your values may become an issue; try not to get into a needless power struggle with someone over personal differences. On the positive side, this is a great day to throw yourself into your work. The powerful emotional energy will help you get the job done.
