Chant to help your hips. The chanting might help the hip directly, or lead you to a cure.

29 year old male. Broke hip in car accident age of 22. Can barely walk sit stand lay down, hell even sit on toilet. Bad arthritis in hip also. Is going to Mexico a good idea? I am in horrible pain. Been told for years now to get replaced, but I have no insurance, and do not foresee 50,000 $$ falling in my lap.

I had a bilateral (both hips) hip replacement in Oct 2011. COBRA ran out, unemployed, so I went with National Business Living Assoc...Health Insurance Membership at $395 a month. I was certainly mislead on the coverage & how much the bill would come down after negotiations. Had Patient Advocacy negotiating & got the Hospital Bill of $70,000 down to $49,000 (30% discount). This does not include the Surgeons fees & anesthesia bill which is about $40,000 total & being negotiated at 30% off. So in the end I will owe approx $74,000. How can that be!! I feel I should counter offer & tell my negotiator we will pay a lump sum of $________ by taking a home equity loan rather than paying $150.00 a month to the end of time to settle this. My question is might the hospital & Doctor go for this counter offer since cash upfront is more inviting than a measley monthly payment??

I went to France for hip replacement! It costs there around 18000 euros. The result is great. The importaint thing is to do it in a serious clinic. For example me, I asked my friends and one of them recommended samci! the diagnostics and operation took place in Paris. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices.
Good luck!

That's Great Carolin
Now 18,000 Euros is that the total Cost ? That's about 22 Thousand US.
SIMCI > I read on the net "SAMCI is an escort program for patients"
They found and arranged for your Doctor ? is this right ?
does Samci select your doctor and such ?
Who was your Doctor ?
Can you Please provide some Contact for the Samci agency you used Phone number and the like > It seems they have many offices
What is the fee charged by Samic or is that part of the total bill ?
Thanks in advance

It cost a lot but I didn't have to pay a penny, my insurance covered it all except for a 2nd toilet riser I got and the walker, they would only pay for either crutches or a walker and I wanted both. But they paid for physical therapy, and the other stuff I needed to for around the house.
What kind of insurance do you have? Very curious.

I took my parents to Thailand for their hip surgery. Much more affordable than it was in the US, plus I got a great vacation :) We didn't use insurance but it was still much cheaper.

I had a complete hip replacement in Nov 2010. Salem Hospital Salem, Mass. Dr. Murzic was very professional. It cost me $0. Thank you MassHealth, Dr. Murzic, and all the good people involved. The Dr.'s in Kentucky were put off because I had no money and no insurance.

My mother in law just had her hip replaced in Canada and it cost her zero dollars. I don't know who is ripping you off, but it's not the Canadain medical system. Someone is making a few extra bucks from you or you are are getting this done else where.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
