I use Minoxidil and would recommend to anyone out there that they try it first, I didn't get told about it until I had wasted a lot of money on "Natural solutions", but now I've found the answer and my hair loss has returned to normal.
I'm still a bit thin on my hairline though, so I use a thickening conditioner, which also makes my hair feel better as Minoxidil dries it out a bit The conditioner I found that works best was Nanothik, you can find it here: http://www.nanogen.org They sell some other stuff too but I haven't tried any of it, just the conditioner |

Topix is better than Nanogen IMO.

Slim...
Can you use these products if you are planning a hair graft? I'm actually preparing for that now...and letting my hair grow out a bit for my specialist to have more to attach the graft to. It would be awesome if it could thicken my hair up enough. You responded to one of my posts that you have never heard of National Hair Centers. They are hq'd here in Phoenix, but are the founders of Transitions, which is national. They have been amazing...hairloss is not fun. Guess we all identify with Samson. |

I don't see why you could not use them. As far as NHC Centers that is why I have never heard of them, I live on the East Coast. Hair loss sucks and wish you all the best. It's a long and hard fight but we do what we can.
Take Care! |

Slim, I just tried the Toppek conditioner (not called Toppik or Topix? did you typo or have I got the wrong thing?)
It wasn't that great, cost a lot more than a normal conditioner and din't do anything impressive to my hair, sorry but it just wasn't any good for me, I'll stick with the Nanothik. Simon, why couldn't you use conditioners before a hair graft, they don't have any effect on your scalp really? |

No, I made a typo sorry.

LOL!

Spray paint would work for you. You could buy the glossy for the 50's greaser look or the flat-black for the look of today. |

Hair in a can, they make that, I seen Ron Popeil advertise it |
