See your doctor before changing any medication!
Gee - Wouldn't you have to see your doctor to get a new prescription? It is not legal to write your own!

Yes they would. Brilliant of you to point that out and not assume you can just pick what meds you wish to be on and dictate to your DR what you want. Thanks!:)

I have had issues with my thyroid for 5 years. I started out with hypothroidism and was taking .25mcg of synthroid. Now I am taking 1.75 mcg and just found out that I am hyperthyroid but really don't have symptoms of this. I have been running 3-4 miles a day and cutting back on calories for 2 months now. I have only lost 4 pounds. Can you be hyperthyroid and gain weight?
I was told by my doctor today that 20%of hyper will have the weight gain or not able to lose weight symptom. which is common in hypo.

I was diagnosed during my first semester of medical school, so I just put the fatigue, depression, and digestive problems down to stress and lack of exercise, and the fact that my mind was foggy and I was struggling a lot more in school than I ever have down to the workload being harder. It wasn't until a clinic checkup discovering I was moderately anemic that the doctor ran all sorts of tests and found out that my TSH was over 200, and I had no T3/T4 left at all. He was surprised I was still functioning. Am now on levothyroxine 125 mcg and feeling completely back to normal.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Cancer

If you've been troubled lately, now's the time to seek a friend's counsel. Even just a little tea and sympathy will be nice, so plan to have lunch with someone simpatico. Everyone needs to spend a little time with someone who won't judge them; Cancer is often wonderful at giving this sort of unconditional affection but often has a harder time seeking it out. Accept a little TLC... you need it now.
