Has anyone heard of any outbreaks of Shigella at McDonalds in Edina, MN or Dairy Queen in Edina, MN?
I was hospitalized almost a week ago and am trying to find information as I was diagnosed with Shigella and these are the only places I have eaten where I could have contracted it. Please help! Thanks Bridgette |

You may have gotten it from a fly that landed on your food. Shigella spp.(bacteria name) can be in feces for weeks.
Or from any place that you bought prepared foods, like the deli.
