i jut left my brother in the hospital with a flesh eating disease i really think they do not know what to do is there a hospital near jacksonville were he could get help?

Not certain about where you are...However
Check with Chicago, Il forums...someone was just talking about similarities...have hospitals compare notes!

That skin infection is very common recently. I guess there are a lot of factor involved. You can try to learn more about it in order to avoid it. I recommend you http://skindiseases.uv.ro

a friend of mine who weighs 376 lbs has just been diagnosed with flesh eating desease..... the doctor told her she only has 25 years to live....

my husband's cousin died from this disease.. can anyone get it from the person who has it...?

I contracted drug-resistant staph (MRSA), and several other strains of bacteria from my dad, which progressed into necrotizing fasciitis (NF). I was his in-home health care provider and his bladder was catheterized. My forearm got drenched in his urine while I was trying to dress him one day. He was 86 years old at the time, and his HMO kept sending him home with hospital-acquired infections. They never once warned us of how infectious he was.

As long as you are careful and do not touch urine, puc or other secretions, you should be okay, since these bacteria generally are not airborne.
