MRSA is serious. There is a product available for sale to prevent MRSA from spreading and it works. My husband had MRSA after a short stay at the hospital. We used the product which was suggested by one of the nurses at the hospital. The product is called First Call. Go to www.destaph.com to order your supply today and prevent any of your loved ones from getting MRSA

peddler! Maybe if you offer a 1200mg/24hrs/14 days coupon for Zyvox. What is your refund policy?
Clorox would be very happy to get $87 a gallon, and probably work better! Too bad you didnt add swine flu! Would you please display your MSDS.

I missed O and cant view clip using dialup. I was just wondering if she mentioned 52 people died today.

Swine flu is close to being called a pandemic, yet MRSA is "just an infection". Gives me a warm and fuzzy, NOT.

I have the same story as everyone else who has contracted MRSA from a hospital so I won't go into details except to say its ruining my life. I've jost jobs, friends, and am thousands of dollars in debt from not being able to work and the cost of constantly paying for drugs.
Does anyone know of any successuful lawsuits or of any lawyers who are interested in taking up this fight?

When my dad died horrifically from MRSA he contracted three yrs ago while in the hospital; I made a vow that I could never again sit back and watch another loved one or fellow American die as did Vincent. For three years I wrote letters and made phone calls asking for help and for changes - only to have my cries fall on deaf ears. It is because of these deaf ears that I decided to write a book entitled "On The Street Where You Live" (www.juliapilasauthor.com ) My book is short, informative, and educational but more importantly it was written with the intentions to help save lives. Although we had heard a few short stories about MRSA and saw a few stegments on TV concerning MRSA we listened and watched and moved on thinking it would never happen to us. Sadly it did happen to us and now our very dear loved one is gone. Please don't make the same mistake that we did. Read "On The Street Where You Live" so that you will have a fighting chance to survive a hospital stay. It is time we all ban together and make a difference - we can no longer sit back and allow the hospitals to hide behind the unwritten laws that are permitting them to continue their irresponsible practices. Just as we are held accountable for our mistakes in life - so must they be held accountable for theirs.

I can some up the book and save you the money. The least I can do for our ailing economy.

"My healthy Dad went into the hospital for a proceedure. Dad got MRSA. Dad died. I am selling a book."

Over 300 people were informed they have MRSA today. Tomorrow 52 people will die from MRSA. Write your own book at:

You are taking advantage of an Oprah thread to plug your book.

Care to debate your knowledge of MRSA?

I will start. Can you define "Quorum"?

Ahh - you are angry over these infections (as you should be)- so am I! You choose to vent your anger thru your web site - I thru my book! I do not pretend to be an authority on MRSA. My book is intended to expose the improprities that I witnessed from within our hospitals, our doctors, the hospital staff, and the Bd of Public Health.(all who refuse to do their job and protect us) My dad was very dear to me.. as I am sure your loved ones are dear to you, while he laid there helpless and mutilated I had no choice but to stand there and watch... this book was my way of standing up and try to make a difference.. to do for someone else what I couldn't do for my dad. You have you're feelings and I have mine, you don't have to buy my book...it doesn't matter. What does matter is that I can now lay my head on my pillow each night knowing that because I tried to make a difference maybe my dad's death will not have been in vain - don't be so quick to condemn... I am on your side.. Have a nice day!

Your Dad's grave is behind him, mine is infront of me, and you dont have MRSA.

I'll say this, you got spunk.

Listen, I handled you with kid gloves compared to what I do to Garlic salesmen.

Give me what you consider the most important point a patient should due to protect themselves from healthcare.

them read this...

I may actually be interested in your book.

"Quorum" is when the bacteria simply is quiet until it reaches a certain population. Then it produces biofilm. Then it attacks.

Currently there is a warning MRSA patients are unaware of. Those on Rifampin should avoid the remotest possibility of exposure to H1N1. Thousands will die.
