PUTT You must try "The Vimax Penis Enlargement" patch that uses an ultra-concentrated formula infused into a small, discreet dermal patch, which sticks to the body. Like contraceptive patches, diet patches, nicotine patches, pain relief patches and various hormone patches, the Vimax Penis Enlargement patch uses advanced physiological technology to introduce the formula into the users bloodstream in a controlled, timely manner. It is the best! http://bulldogpatch.com/index/affid/37

TJP1944 I am thinking about the procedure and am looking for an experience doc in the charlotte area. Can I ask who your doc was? TJP1944 wrote: <quoted text> Well, Jack, as you know I had it done and I'm now 6 days post-op. Operation only took 45 minutes. I was in recovery for six hours. No clue as to why. After Day 1 the pain began and I can assure you I have never had such pain before in my life. But, I just kept thinking that "this too shall pass". Each day gets better. My balls blew up to the size of a soft ball. I kid you not! There was one complication, but it's not worth the space or the time to get into here, suffice to say it was a minor complication. I can't tell if I've lost any length, but according to everything I've read, here and other places, I will lose some. Judging from what I can see now I doubt that will be much. For sure the girth is better. I guess the wife will like that.:-) The surgeon implanted the AMS700 LGX. At this juncture, if I've lost any length I really don't care. All I want is to get beyond the swelling and to the point where the pain is gone. I guessing right now that might be within the next 14 days. I am waiting two month before going back to the surgeon for addition training and instructions. Tim

Pineville, right next to the hospital on Park. You can write me direct at tjpatton44@gmail.com if you want. He has done a couple of hundred and now only uses the AMX LGX. Mine is coming along, but you have to understand this is surgery and the cut and the healing time they tell you - 4 to 6 weeks - is spot on. It's the 13th and I am almost down to normal. I'll talk with you on the phone if you wish. Tim

I was luck enough to fall in love with and get married to a wonderful lady 41 years ago. Through the years we had our problems and worked them out.
One thing I learned with this lady is that there is sex and then there is making love. Two completely different things.
After my failed implant I lost my focus. I just wanted to have sex again. Fournately she helped me bring my focus back to making love and not sex. There is a lot more to making love than just intercourse.
Today with my implant I have been able to renew my lost abality to have an erection. But I still remember her words to me during my darkest hour, "Jack, I did not marry you for your penis."
With the renewed ability to have intercourse with this lovely lady it has made making love the pleasure that God ment it to be. Not me not her but us.
For you men thinking about do I want to have the surgery or not remember if making love to your lady is your desire the reward will be greater than you expected.
Just my thoughts.

Decided to go for it but i just want to make sure i get the right doctor, don't mind the distance as long as he's really good. Keeping fingers crossed. All of what Jack says is spot on an emotional level, but you need to remember that this is major surgery. I'm two weeks post-op today and, although, the healing continues, and the swelling is 95% down, you need to understand this isn't a cake walk. My scrotum swelled up to the size of a soft ball. There is pain, and not to be trite about this, but "no pain, no gain." I walk tenderly today. I roll over in bed slowly. To help with that I placed a pillow between my legs in bed so as not to have my leg come in contact with "The Boys" while I slept. Last night was the first night I was able to sleep though the night w/o it. If you have a hot tub then use it after about a week or so. That's been a God send to me as we have one on the back deck. Jr. & The Boys get to float freely in the water. A bath might work, too, but in my case I don't see any reason to use it. Another thing, I don't know how anyone can do this and take off work for the time it takes to heal. If you're working take a two or three week vacation - you'll need every bit of it. The word "vacation" in this situation is actually an oxymoron. Ask questions of the physician. Set your mind at ease and if he's worth his salt then he'll walk you though this step by step and tell you what you can expect. There are NO stupid questions, remember that. Do NOT go into this blind. If I can pass on one thing to anyone thinking about this it would be that gravity will be your worst enemy. I know it will hurt, but keep "The Boys" UP. They'll give you a supporter after surgery - USE IT! WEAR IT! Tim

Also go to www.amslgx.com for a good graphic of the LGX and Bob Bacon's Blog www.penileimplant.blogspot.com has several stories (including mine) of men that have the implant. The one thing most comment is I wish I had this years ago. Any way I can help just let me know. Jackp

Dr. Milam told my wife, "He will be in pain for a while and I believe he will be happy with the outcome."
I thankfully did not have as much pain as you did. Your's was the scrotal approach and mine was the pubic. My first attempt, by a local doctor, was scrotal and that was much more painful for me than the pubic approach.
As for what Dr. Milam said about the outcome. I am more than happy. All I asked for was a usable erection. I have a usable erection and have gained about 3/4" lost to peyronies in 1995.

Jack, as we have discussed, there are two avenues physicians take in accomplishing this, one, the public, one, the scrotum. You and I both have had the scrotum approach and we know the post-op pain it causes. For a fact, they're both painful, so let's deal with that fact. What I have found in this blog has been the lack of information on the post-op affect. It's mostly been about, "Hey, I can get it up, again, whoopee!" Good, and that's great, but it doesn't come without some degree of pain. And, yes, we all experience pain in different ways, so let's keep that in mind. The one thing someone has to think about here is, yes, there will be pain, but, it subsides pretty quickly. As I wrote above, I'm two weeks post-op and when I stand in front of the mirror after showering in the morning, everything looks as it did. Again, no pain, no gain. On a more humorous note I can see how the woman, after having given birth to a child could say to her husband, "You keep THAT thing away from me!" :-)

A penile implant by its nature is painful. I have had worse pain with back surgery and in 08 when the doctor penetrated my eshopugas, collapsed my left lung and put my heart in a-fib. I woke up in recovery with a doctor cutting in my side with a nurse holding my left hand over my head. I called the doctor a couple of dirty words, but he kept on cutting and pushed in a tube before knocking me back out. That 10 days in the hosptial I almost died. I told my heart doctor I had an appointment in 2 weeks for a penile implant. He said I had to wait 3 more months for my heart to recover enough. I have been through worse pain than the implant. In the secam of things with my back I am 98% pain free, my heart gets stronger every day and I have a usable erection for the first time in years. The memories of the pain have faded. The back is well, my heart is getting stronger, and I can make love to my beautiful wife of 41 years. I am blessed. Jackp

anyone know a good doctor in the Chicago region..Im a 39yo diabetic, on Edex, which is painful and might try bimix or trimix next but im just getting tired of injecting myself..and that cant be healthy doing that.. Seems to me a pelvic op will be the way to go for recovery over going through the scrotum..

The closest is Dr. Douglas Milam at Vanderbilt in Nashville TN. I had my implant 13 months ago with the pubic approach. Now I feel NORMAL again. I know the shots are painful and they caused my corporal fibrosis to get worse. Email me at jwp104@att.net and I will forward you a lot of information. Will also be glad to answer any questions. A larger penis can be achieved with the use of penis enhancers. There are many forms of penis enhancement products such as pills, patches and topical oils. However, there are some products that can produce significant results and makes use of the body's natural abilities. For example, I used pills from a site http://newmaletreatment.info
