Ground beef recalled over E. coli illnesses

A New York meat company has recalled almost 546,000 pounds of ground beef because it may be contaminated with a bacteria that has caused illness and one death, according to health officials.

Hey people .. this story is three days old !!
Supermarkets were calling their customers about the problem on Saturday .. but the Bugle was busy writing "artsy-fartsy" stories.

The story may be three days old but the meat is over a month old and most of it has already been eaten. I'm so glad I'm a vegetarian. Eating meat these days is like playing Russian roulette. Food poisoning is the most under-reported disease in the country.
