Hello everyone, i have a like-brand new minimed 511 paradigm insulin pump in great condition which i am selling because i just upgraded to the newest medtronic pump...im throwing in tons of accessories and supplies including quick set infusions (3 boxes) and reservoirs (3 boxes) and a never opened BD blood glucose monitor which can communicate with teh newer versions of the minimed pumps if u were to upgrade.$600 or best offer

I'm very interested in your pump...my doctor has been urging me to get one but I have no insurance and I'm a very brittle Type 1 diabetic. I just spent 2 weeks in the hospital for ketoacidosis as I have about 10 to 13 times in the past year. Let me know if you still have it and some additional info if you have it. I've been saving up to buy an insuline pump for a little girl living in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She's very poor and her father is an alcoholic, there is no way they could afford it! I started a fund last year and have collected quite a lot but still don't know if that's enough. Could someone please tell me what insulin pump would be ok for a 10 year old? How much it would cost and how do I go about to get one? I really don't know much about it but am desperate to help the little girl.

I too have upgraded to a newer model insulin pump. Therefor, I have a MiniMed 508 that I'd like to sell for a more than fair price. The pump itself is in immaculate condition. showing virtually no wear at all. Included with the pump is the remote control, the belt clip, large instruction manual and all information that originally came with it, in it's original box. There's a black leather case nicely broken in and softened, and a brown cordura nylon case as well.
Also a total of three (3) boxes of Quick-Set infusion sets (MMT-390), 6 Eveready 357 batteries, readily available @ Wal-Mart or wherever, and several of the battery holders that go into the pump so you can make backup battery packs! I do not have any cartridges- you're on your own there. I do have a price in mind but if you have an offer or any questions, feel free to contact me at jdrog65@hotmail.com.
