It's not uncommon for patients with chronic pain, such as arthritis and fibromyalgia, to be prescribed antidepressants.

Judged: 2 1 1 I am literally laughing out loud at this as years and years ago I was told about the same thing about a new drug to help with nerve pain in my leg to "help me cut down on the number of pain pills" I was taking after I injured my leg in a car accident. I was told it could cause dry mouth and nausea lol..... I had hallucinations audio and visual suicidal thoughts that ended with me in emerg on suicide watch... that was on less then a month of prozac and guess what not one of those doctors had the balls to tell me it was all a reaction to prozac I learned that just a couple of years ago when I bought a computer!!! I have been thru countless withdrawals which cause pain depression hurts my ass those people never felt the pain of cold turkey withdrawal NOW THAT IS PAIN... PLEASE READ chronic fatigue fibo or serotonin syndrome apparently to much serotonin in your body causes pain .... I shit you not look it up. I have been drug free for 4 years my body was contorted in agony my foot dragged I had symptoms of ms and parkinson... yep all drug reaction to antidepressants my body felt torched ... tendons contracted ... look up that... keep looking in a few years of searching it will all add up... these drugs cause pain and withdrawal hurts and causes depression I never had depression or anxiety till after I took prozac after that I was drugged for 18 years... yep 18 years cause no doctor would say it was the drug and the next doctors would not say this new symptoms is really withdrawal... what a load of money these doctors made for pharma while they wrecked my life. join the dots don't be a chemical lab rat... get out of your cage go here for help antidepressantsurvival.org paxilprogress.org |

There are supplements that deal with both depression and inflamation (causes arthritis) they are called vitamin D and fish oil. Vitamin D helps heal weak bones, helps with anti inflammation and depression because it is a key activator for serotonin production.
Fish Oil has omega 3 in it. Omega has a building molecule called EPA. EPA is a main building block for many anti inflamatory hormones, and helps manage your brain cells production of serotonin. Check out some reviews for both of these supplements here... Fish Oil: http://goo.gl/Jh9xt Vitamin D: http://goo.gl/gR5S9 |

I find it odd that a lot of people on these withdrawal sites have low vitamin D I am one of them. I can't help but wonder if this is s side effect of antidepressants... as I know high serotonin damages bones maybe the low D is part of the way high serotonin does the damage. Personally I cannot not take Vit D even tho I am low I have a bad reaction when I take it and can't sleep. Even on the Recommended daily dose... any ideas why this is. The first day I took it with calcium and thought I was going to die of a heart attack within 30 mins I had balls of light around my eyes could not see and my heart was pounding out of my chest. I was told to not take the calcium because of this effect ...so tried that... and could not sleep had severe anxiety ... I just gave them both up. It is hard to say what my D was before antidepressants as it was never checked till after I was off the drugs and broke my foot in 4 places doing a small hop on the kitchen floor... I now have osteopenia... I found out about the high serotonin causing damage to bones in an odd way an article about beer making your bones stronger.. the reason is beer lowers serotonin... a specific kind is best think it was alexander keiths beer... easy to find online I am sure. After I found that I went after scientific proof and found that too I have posted it hear if any wants to look for it it is in the pages below. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Leading to other, more serious and possibly life-changing chronic problems and when one decides they no longer want to take these medications they go through horrible withdrawals and often revert back to taking them in order to alleviate the withdrawals. Eventually, these drugs stop working altogether (tolerance) so they suffer with withdrawal-type symptoms even when they are taking it. If you miss a dose even by a few hours you immediately start experiencing withdrawals like brain zaps, nausea, dizziness, etc, leading to run not walk as fast as you can to your pill bottle for a fix. The side effects from long-term use can include things like vision loss, problems equilibrium/balance, short-term memory loss (can't find the next word in a sentence because they can't remember what they were talking about), hypo and hyperlibido, suicidal/homocidal ideation/attempts/succesful attempts, the list goes on and on. I'd rather suffer from depression, hot flashes, anxiety, chronic pain than roll the dice with these medications. |

Your right the Brain Shivers and Electrical Shocks
were no fun at all. They are common known Side Effects that don't show up for years later or when you go off. Maybe not all people will get them but really, really no fun. The human system at the cell level is more electrical than you may think. Especially the heart muscle. |
