My husband has CF, 24 yrs old. PFTs are 46 before they were 43

Hey there just wanted to tell everyone that has CF, a family member or friend that has it how they are doing. My husband juxst turned 24 on april 23 and is doing great. We are taking this nutrition drink called Monavie that has been known and said to help immune problems. We hope it is helping him. He isn't coughing as much. we hope hus next dr. visit his pfts are a littel higher. like in the 50s. How is everyone coping with it and how old are they. What's the oldest person that lived with Cf? Hope this is where I write. My son is 24 and has CF, he recently met and is going to get married. Do you have advise on getting married to someone with CF. He is on medicare, is your husband also on medicare? What happens to all the medical bills and are you the spouse responsible or harrased for any of the bills? i have cf emphesema, diabetis, sleep apnea,morbid obesity,possibly glaucoma wow im lucky and blessed to be breathin at 48 and suffered this for 10 years

OMG Ricky Warren You have CF and Morbid Obesity... thats kinda strange, impossible if you as me... but anyways for those of you looking to gain weight I actually Drink a quart of half and half EVERY day and it helps dramatically... 1280 calories and at Sams club for less than $2 a quart its one of the cheapest nutritional substitutes i have ever found. it also doesnt have a WHOLE lot of sugars so if you have CF related diabetes like me its better than Boost or something that is so sweet and flavored. I gained about 10 pounds in 2 weeks, eating heavily of course too... but try it ... its worth a shot

Marissa, does Monavie help your husband with CF? I am also taking it, and it does wonders for my energy, and i haven't been sick in a year! not a cold or anything! My friend has CF and he's had a lung transplant, I am trying to find some studies or testimonials connecting CF and Monavie. What does your husbands doctor say about it? THanks!

my sister has got cf, shes 14 and doesnt cope with it very well, shes happy that the life expectency is going up. by the way, my sister drinks fortyjuice she gets them from her nutrisionist and she put them on prescriptions, and theres also scandy shakes as another option for putting on weight on. we live in the united kingdom so we get them free.
