Hi everyone.
I am currently trying Colonix. It's a colon cleansing product from Dr. Natura. I've been on it for 13 days now, and I've been getting this strong headaches. They kick in shortly after drink the fiber mix in the morning, and drag me down for most of my day. Is this common?
Also, it's caused me to become consipated. I haven't had a bowl movement in 3 days. I'm bloated and can't wear my usual clothes. Why is this happening?
This isn't what Colonix is supposed to do is it? I'm confused, because I was lead to beleive that it was prevent constpiation. Has anyone else expirienced this? I need to know if I should take anymore.

hi.
I tried Colonix about a year ago. I didn't like what it did to me. I experienced alot of the same things you did. I just tried searching for it in google, and I came across a colon cleansing blog ( http://www.mycleansingblog.com ), and the guy is actually doing the colonix cleanse right now.
He's going through alot of the same things youre talking about. Hope you feel better soon...

i'm going through the same thing. is making me crazy. i'm on day 12 and have only had 2 tiny movements the entire time. i've never had a problem with going daily before starting this cleanse. i've gained a lot of weight and am miserable. i've stuck to the program completely. i called the helpline yesterday and they told me to cut back on my fiber, but that hasnt helped yet. my biggest worry is that i'm not going to lose the ten or so pounds i've gained on this, when i've been eating healthy and running everyday. making me crazy!!! but for some reason i keep going b/c i think it has to release at one point. dont know what to do either. sorry to not be much help - but thought it might be good to know that other people are going through it too.

Hi - I'm on my second month of the Colonix and Toxinout program and the first month was not easy, I had headaches, bloating and flu like symptoms, but I SAW A LOT OF STUFF come out that was like old fecal matter and lots of it. You have to be patient, because this cleanse is a gentle cleanse, and it is meant to be a SLOW cleanse, remember it took you years of eating junk to get where you are now. Be Patient! Headaches come because you are expelling toxins. Do you want the toxins in or out? The first month will be difficult, you will be bloated the first month. Make sure you are also taking the PRO-BIOTIC, it will relieve you of the bloating, and keep calling customer service till you get someone you like who helps you. Thats my helpful advice. You have to be patient.

I am in my second month of Colonix...have been on the program and gaining weight...have not had a BM in 6 days, as bloated as ever....I also feel like I am bearing twins...my clothes no longer fit. I get headaches frequently...have no urge to go, no cramps, no gas...no evidence that I am healing. I am ready to give up! I called the company twice re: bloating. First I was advised to drink more water...then to take probiotics. I am more constipated than I ever was....and feel disgusted with my body. I am a healthy eater and fairly active. Has anyone else had this experience? I have 2-3 BM's a week. What is going on???

Hi becky I only take the fiber and yes you do have a headache and that is normal it's just your bidy getting used to the herbs, also when they say you must drink alot of water that is so true(at least half your body weight) if that doesn't work try some strong coffee early in the morning..... hope I helped....

no bowel movement in 3 days? Thats very surprising.. b/c Colonix is supposed to give you more bowel movements. Are you sure u are following all the guidelines.. make sure you are drinking lots of water since colon cleansing can make u dehydrated... eat more veggies, fruits and drink more soups/broths.. here's a page you should visit: http://www.colonzone.org/colonix-review.php

Colonix really isn't supposed to do this to you.. I recommend calling them directly to make sure you are following the regimen word-for-word... make sure u are drinking more water, rebounding, and eating healthier.. no fatty foods!!!

Also, check out this article to make sure you are doing everything correctly:

First things first - I am not a health nut. I have been overweight for most of my life & was quite happy to continue that way until I landed in the hospital due to my poor eating habits. After a lot of online 'research' I debated ordering Colonix for the better part of a month before finally giving in.

I've been on the program for only 2 weeks but I have been so impressed with the results so far that I have ordered 2 more months worth in order to do the full 3 month cleanse. I must admit that I thought I had made a huge mistake the first few days I started. I was bloated, gassy, crampy, cranky, headachy, tired yet restless at the same time & just generally a real cow to be around. By the second week I modified my diet to something much more condusive to the goal I was trying to reach & things got drastically better.

Have you changed your diet as well? Cut out red meat? Drinking enough water?(That last one is a toughie... once I'm done peeing I practically need to go right away again). I cut out all high fat foods & seriously upped my fruits & veggies dosage to help the program flush the garbage out of me. I also steep the tea longer than needed (about 10 - 15 mins) and make sure that I continue to eat foods high in fibre and low in fat.

I really hope things change (or changed is probably more appropriate by now) for you.

Hi Becky G.

I would almost bet you're not drinking enough water. I had this experience with another product and quit taking it because I had the same symptoms. Not the headaches but the bloating and constipation. You need to make sure your drinking the amount of water recommended or a little more depending on what works for you.

I did the Lemonade Diet, which produced no results until trying Dr Natura 2 weeks later, and I have been having great results( just like the pictures published on the Dr Natura site) and it's been 13 days. I also had experienced no BM's the first couple of days, then I incorporated another product called Colon Cleanse by Renew Life. It was then I started to see results. So I use that plus the tea at nite, and I'm not constipated anymore... Hope that helps... and drink lots of water!

I started colonix two weeks ago, 1st 5 days with the lesser amount of everythign was fine but since I started taking more pills and fiber I have the worst bloating ever (and I do drink tons of water anyway, even before Colonix). Well since I started the 6th day not only has the bloating been so much that it hurts but for 2 nights I've had horrible stomach pain/heartburn etc. (similar to when I had gastritis last year). and it's been so bad I threw all the pills away. The pain just was not worth continuing. I suspect I have allergic to some of the herbal products in the pills or powder.

I tried Colonix with Amazing results and about to do it again this year(one year later).
k, if anyone gets constipated during the clease--ur NOT doing it right! U have to drink plenty of H2O--lots of fluids--no soda or coffee(for they make u dehydrated--you loose water from your body). This is CRUCIAL when u take fiber--otherwise it will just get stock in side of u. BTW, this is all in the instructions!
For those of u who say you look all bloated, like ur "carrying twins"--no cleanser willdo that, so STOP using your fat as an excuse! Ur fat and it is great that your trying to change that, but don't start making up excuses for your fatness or what you ppl call it "bloated."
Also, if you get a little bloated--it is fine bc all that crap and fat is moving down your intestines.
anyhow, good lock to all!

OK NAT that was rude, and not at all true. You really can get BLOATED. and it is not necessarily fat! I don't get bloated yet on this program, but I am only on day 12.
I have to say, at the beginning, I was really bummed out, because I was feeling like crap on the cleanse, but I knew it could happen. I laid around for 3 days with no relief, and only very small BMs. But I stuck it out, and tweaked my program a little here and there to make things work for me. But before, let me just tell you, I had headaches, nausea (bad) dizziness, my eyes hurt, weakness, no BM for 3 days painful cramps and gas(really painful). Why did I stick It out? because I thought if I didn't I was going to die. The way I was going, only passing deer poop every 3 to 4 days, and with a lot of pain. I was really worried. So here I am now, at 12 days, and I can say that I feel so much better, My energy is really high. I get up every morn at 7:00 ( I'm a 9:00 riser)I have had now a couple of significant BMs that I really believe had some kind of worm in them, headaches are gone except when I have to pass something bad, and directly after the BM, it goes away. What I did, was steep my tea a little longer each night.(I'm now at 7 min) until I was getting a good BM without the runs,(make SURE you don't Microwave the water for your Tea, it changes or affects the molecular structure, causing it not to work properly!!!!)So.... here is my exact system it could be different for you. wake at 7:00 go to kitchen, take 4 paranil with 8oz of water(spring)1/2 a bottle exactly put on the timer for 15 min. mix my fiber, 1 scoop with 1/2 cup oj.@ 14 min. Drink it all down at once, followed by the other 8 0z half of the bottle of water. Then I drink 3 more bottles of water throughout the day. Not less, and not much more(too much water can bloat you , and make you constipated on the program too) Right before I go to bed, I steep my tea for 7 min(time it on a timer) and then I watch t.v til I fall asleep. I have been doing SO much better the past few days, and today(for the first time) I saw substantially more waste than before. I know that you can be allergic to the product too, which I thought I might be because I kept getting these rashes that would come and go all over my body, but like I said, it was my last hope. My hubby is on day one, and I feel sorry for him, he is laying on the couch looking like he is going to die. I really just told him he needed to stick it out, it is worth it. I really hope this helps you , and that this plan is the answer for you. I know how disartening it can be when something you were counting on doesn't work.
Good luck! Tari

Tari,
Do you still get those rashes? I been on Dr. Natura for 7 days now, I have BM twice a day, not a lot but better then before I got on the program. The only thing that concern me is brothering me is these rashes I kept getting all over my body. I called the customer service hotline and they said its normal but its really bothering and annoying me and I have to dress to covered the rashes when I go to work each morning. The rashes disappear in the afternoon, I think its something to do with the Parani capsule. I'm beginning to wonder if I"m allergic to the product, the product works I don't want to give up but I also don't want to keep on taken it if I get an allergic reaction from it. Anyone with a similar experience with rashes could you please advice?

Thanks
Eliezra

Hi! I have yet to try the product but my cousin swears it works. He is currently trying it for the second time. HE first used the product 2 years ago. I am wondering if it gets rid of even the microscopic parasites like mites on the face. Anyone of you know anything about this?

Hi Everyone! Has anyone heard of or tried Bowtrol? I've been doing a ton of research and I've heard that Bowtrol is better. Is this true? I want to start a cleansing product ASAP, but I can't decide between Colonix or Bowtrol. Any suggestions would be great!
Thank you!!!

Part of the feeling crappy is all part of the detoxification. When the body is dedtoxifying.....you have to feel worse from all the toxins being released, before you feel better. I have done the cleanse before and will be doing it again.

Like the others, I think you really need to steep the tea for longer. Also, I used to steep it longer and in a really large cup and would drink about 8 ounces before bed and the rest during the nite and even some in the morning....never had problems with constipation or anything.

Agree with them to to eat more fruits and veggies, cut out the fatty foods...nothing fried, decrease dairy and meats.

Hope this helps.
